I'm currently reading Sandra Hill's February release, VIKING IN LOVE. On page 133. Much more amusing than I ever thought it would be and I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

message 2: by Calila (new)

Calila I'm not currently reading anything. I've been having trouble getting into All She Desires- Anthea Lawson so I've put it back on the shelf until another time. I think next I'll start Lavender Morning-Jude Deveraux. Thats the plan at least.

Hi Maria,

It's Proof is next on my list, right after Viking in Love. Courtney is a fabulous writer.

I'm reading Maggie Robinson's Mistress By Mistake. I know I'm reading out of order, but it's just soooo good. I found out it's the first in a series of 4 books.

I need to read the 8 books I received for the RITA. My prayer is that it will end up being pleasurable reads, although the first one was so-so, I have hopes that the remaining 7 will be better. Wish me luck.

Samantha | 54 comments I just finished Written on Your Skin by Meredith Duran. It was not what I had expected. I wasn't pleased with the book.

Beverley Kendall (beverleykendall) | 32 comments Mod
Really? I read Bound By Your Touch and I really enjoyed it. Written on Your Skin seemed to intriguish for me. But I'm looking forward to her next book. Seems to be a straight romance.

message 19: by Samantha (new)

Samantha | 54 comments I might give her another chance but this one was a bit much. It was well written but there was minimal romance. There was also alot of inner dialogue going on. you know, constant chatting in their heads. I wanted to feel the connection. I need a really good historical that just make me feel the romance.

LOL! I know what you mean but I used this book as part of one of my challenges so it helped bump it up on the mountain of books that need to be read.

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish My problem is that I got sucked into series' and I'm too OCD to be able to stop until I've finished. *sigh*

Oh I was liked that before but I can now take a break in the series but I still hate when I read books out of order. I try not but sometimes I pick up a book and realized it was the 2nd or 3rd in a series. I get so pissed.

message 37: by Calila (new)

Calila i'm reading Provocative in Pearls by Madeline Hunter. I'm hoping its as good as Ravishing in Red which is the first in the series.

message 38: by Calila (new)

Calila I just finished In Bed with the Duke by Christina Dodd. Absolutely loved it.

message 39: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm trying to decide what to read next between Ravishing in Red and The Blonde Samurai. I adore Madeline Hunter and feel like I'm behind since Provocative in Pearls is already out.
I have so little time to read I think professionally I need see what else is out there in Historical Erotic Romance. The Blonde Samurai was an RT top pick the same month Secrets of Sin got 4 stars but I really have a hard time with first person narrative. Any suggestions on which one I should start next?

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish I'm reading Taming Her Irish Warrior and it's really good!

Isalys B. (slimmy415) I just finished & reviewed Cara Elliott's SIN WITH A SCOUNDREL and am now wrapping up Larissa Ione's PLEASURE UNBOUND.

message 43: by Isalys (new)

Isalys B. (slimmy415) Correction: Pleasure Unbound, my current read isn't a historical, it's a paranormal romance. Sorry about that!

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish I'm reading Passion by Lisa Valdez and chapter 1 was worth the price of admission. Wow... just.... WOW

message 45: by Samantha (new)

Samantha | 54 comments Isalys how is that? I wanted to start the demonica series.

Dhestiny is loving Passion :) I know I did and I can't wait for Patience to come out. And before it do, I will be doing a re-read of Passion.

Samantha | 54 comments Uh Yeah! I know I know! LOL! I'm sure you will be able to recite the first chapter by heart by time you finally finish the book (in between your re-reads of chapter 1 of course) :)

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Well, yes... and then I got hung up on re-reads of chapter 3 and 5. I mean... you know..... yeah. LOL

Hi Samantha!

I decided to read the Demonica series because I saw it getting great reviews and some friends of my loved it and true to word, the first book was awesome! I bought the second book immediately because I wasn't ready for the first one to end! LOL
It's a great story, interesting characters and very steamy :)

I definitely recommend if you are into paranormal romances!

message 50: by Samantha (new)

Samantha | 54 comments You just sealed the deal with me. Everyone says buy it and I am. I blame you for my impulse :) Seriously I will be glad to start another paranormal series.
