I have a love/hate relationship with Ben. I really felt so utterly sorry for the poor bastard in last weeks episode. He was like a lost little boy, following Locke around, hoping that Locke would impart some of his wisdom.
When Hurley asked Locke how much farther, Locke told him to ask Ben, and Ben said he was following them... Priceless.
The scene where Hurley shared his candy bar with a defeated Ben .. Priceless. (btw, has anyone managed to find a pic of that shot? I would love to get my hands on one...)
There are some eps where I truely hated that man, but these past few episodes he seems humbled (tho, from gauging his flashfoward, he found his power and strength again)....

Lost has some incredible writing tho I agree, because even I fell a bit for his hand dog expression.
i think it helps the Emmerson is a great actor. I cant picture anyone playing that part quite as well. Hes just the right amount of creepy, and pathetic to boot. But also very intelligent and manipulative. I love it, You never never know what he is being truthful about and when he is lying....

That scene with Ben and Hurley with the candy bar was classic Lost, SO much going on there, I loved it!

I'd like to see that candy bar shot again, too. I still don't think it looked like and Apollo bar (Sessy), it looked more like a Snickers---in a brown wrapper. The Apollo bars were purple-wrapped I think. I'm probably just getting caught up in insignificant details though.

Do you realy think Keamy would've let Alex go if Ben came out? Like, come on, he was suppose to kill everyone once he got Ben anyways. Yes, I will be majorly pissed as well if Emerson doesn't win. He's just... you can't even describe his brillance.

Hmmm..But didnt he also admit he shot Locke 'assuming' he wouldnt die. It was almost like he was testing the island... Me or Him... and the island chose Locke.... Ben is in no way shape or form defeated or down-n-out! We can tell from the flashfowards that what he is going thru now is just a momentary weak spot. He gathers himself and gets it together in the future. Or.... is it all just a show to get Locke to loosen his guard and then Ben backstabs him to get back on top???
Whichever way he goes, I still cant help feeling sorry for the poor guy in times like these.. I always end up regretting it, but i still cant help it! Haa haa

Watch out, Sessy, he may turn those huge Lemur eyes in your direction. Give Juilet the boot and start to seduce you by cooking you dinner and announcing over the main course that "Your HIS!!"

I have a feeling that whatever Locke is doing down in the Orchid Station is pretty secondary to whatever it is that Ben is up to, and I love it.

So see, here goes Ben doing what he does best. Letting Locke think he has the upper hand, then shooting him down with his whole "you dont know what the fuck you are talking about and leave the difficult shit to me, and stop asking questions"..... Haa haa... He took the reigns again... I love it. And Locke, poor guy, i love him, but he just keeps bending over and taking it like a trooper!!
