Have you seen the matching hardbound edition that was just released! It has the same cover image but is formatted to match Bone Crossed and Silver Borne. And they are going to rerelease Blood Bound in hardback in 2011 and Iron Kissed in 2012!

No, I haven't. How exciting. That way people can have matching sets. I'm kind of cheap, but maybe I'll find them at the ubs (since I have the PBs).

I am definitely one of the people who love to have matching sets! I was so proud of her for getting to go hardback but I was so sad that they weren't all pretty and the same on my book shelf!

I just started this series and I am almost done with this book. I have to say that I love it so far and really want her with Adam as of right now but Sam is a close second

JenC, I felt the same way. I actually adore Sam, but Adam, well, he has my heart.

I don't know what it is...when she goes to rescue Adam and Jessie when she is hiding in the closet and his capture is talking to him and he just says her name well that sealed the deal for me. I have to say that I like when they are in the car and Sam grabs her leg and Adam tells him not to touch her...I just started laughing. Oh yeah and when Adams old friend tells Mercy and Sam that Adam has her picture in his bedroom and Sam just looks at her and says In his bedroom? Thats why they needed her help to get him out of there...she was the only one that could keep him calm enough

I love all the small behaviors that Adam has towards Mercy. They give a lot away. Adam's not going to be the overly demonstrative type. But he shows his feelings for Mercy, if you're paying attention. I thought the picture of her in his bedroom was very telling. I knew I wanted them together when I heard about that. There are some good parts with Adam and Mercy in Blood Bound that really got me going. He's crazy about her!

Samuel is such a good character. I truly love him. He's so vulnerable, yet strong. Very intense. I especially felt for him in Blood Bound. I want him to find a good woman. But not Mercy!

Your so right Danielle. Adam will never be the openly gushy guy but his little revelations into his heart are all the more sweeter because of it!

That is very true! Adam is not the guy to bring you flowers and candy and make grand gestures, but will notice what you need and give it to you and most of the time you wouldn't even notice what he did.

Danielle, you should do it just to see what kind of response you got. That would be so interesting.

Danielle that might be the best idea I have ever heard...if I wasn't so afraid of what kind of people would respond I would do it.

I think that would be great to do, but what are the odds that a guy like that would be reading / responding to them??

You'd probably have other women who love Adam contacting you just to find out how it's going. If my husband wouldn't be a little put out, I'd do it in a minute. Would be a crack up.

Ok so just read the first 2 and I am missing the adam thing....Cant everyone see that Sam really loved her back years ago....I mean...Adam is great but I like the quiet soft Sam....I guess it is who you go for in real life...like while I was reading them I was thinking my guy in Afghanistan would love these and he would read them.....and he would know who Adam was if someone placed an ad....but if you saw him he is biker dude tattoos all the way...just a big teddy bear...I mean would adan read these books? probably not but Sam would...talking about him in the playground with the kids....ahhhh

Samuel is sweet and I love him. But, Adam just claimed my heart, Sonya. But I have a friend who doesn't get the Adam love, either.

I think Adam would read the books, only in private with Mercy and not tell anyone! LOL! I adore Sam, and I do agree that he really did love her back then but had other motives. I think Adam loves her for her with no other motives. That and as Dani said, he just completely claimed my heart!

Well just recently divorced and got to thinking...maybe I like Sam cause I am attracted to the guys that need help the wounded birds....lol...have learned that if ya have those kind then you need to run the other way....so Adam is prob the better choice...and Mercy the better, stronger person ..cause she ran the other way..lol

Me too, Bry. I have different types of heroes I go for. Between Adam, Samuel, Charles, and Bran, (and probably Ben, too), they are all represented in this series. :)

Right now...none sound too good to me...lol...dont even know if I have a type....Yes I have a guy in afghanistan I write but nothing perm there....AT 43 they just have one thing on their mind....lol....yes you can see no syrupy romance for me right now. I think that is why I like Mercy. Cause she is her own person and she hates what Adam does to her. Havent any of you had a man do that to you? I can totally understand...she definately wants to be in controll of her own life. Oh and I love that she is satisfied with her trailer and her rabbit. She is so comfortable with who she is and doesnt need stuff...btw those are my horses int he pic...I know they look like a poster but I took the pic this past winter....

Sonya that horses are gorgeous!! I describe the Adam thing. He is a private person but the things he does show how much he cares about her. Just little things like showing that it bothered him when Sam was touching her in the car even tho he wouldn't be able to defend himself if it came to a fight. Showing that he needed her when his daughter was taken. I agree that Sam loves her but it's not really her he loves it's what she can do for him (kids) He took advantage of her when she was 16 and I just don't think I want them together because of that. Adam just loves her for her

That makes a lot of sense, JenC. I think that Samuel is sorry for what he did to Mercy, and his feelings have evolved to care for her as a person, but I still feel that Adam is the right man for her, ultimately.

I think he loves her as a person because of what she can do for him not really who she is as a whole just the coyote part of her. Don't get me wrong I love Sam I just don't like him for her

I don't think he's the best guy for Mercy... Adam probably is *grumble grumble*, but I do like the pack relationship he has with Mercy. Where she's his pack. He leans on her and supports her. So, I guess, I like their friendship. :D

I love in the beginning of the book when Mercy drives to Aspen Creek and the wolves are out hunting and she dashes under Sam's legs to hide from Leah. So cute!!! :D
