2. I read the back of Iron Kissed at Borders one day and thought the idea of a female mechanic in an urban fantasy sounded like a fun read. I'm glad I was right!
3. I like the Mercy Thompson books best, the Alpha Omega ones didn't appeal to me as much. The one I read was well written, don't get me wrong, but I think the passivity of the heroine just didn't appeal as much as Mercy.

I became a friend of PB's when I found her books at the library. I had not heard of her, but I loved the covers and could not wait to read her books.
My Favorite PB book would have to be Silver Borne. I am currently reading it and LOVE it! I really like the Mercy series. I love sassy Mercy. I have read the Omega series as well. The book On the Prowl is the best short story ever!

2. My mother obsessed over the Mercedes Thompson series, and demanded that I read them...I conceded to her bossiness and fell in love with them :)
3. Oh my, well I do love the Mercedes Thompson series, but I rather enjoyed her Hurog Duology (which was more fantasy than PNR) I haven't actually read her Alpha Omega series because the library is taking fooooorever to get it to me!

2. The cover of the first book caught my eye at the bookstore. I read the description and thought this seemed like my type of book, and it was! She is an awesome storyteller. She knows how to write characters and has created such a fascinating world.
3. I really really like the Mercy series, especially the latest book, Silver Borne, but I adore Charles and Anna's relationship and consider the book Hunting Ground my favorite of Briggs' books at the moment.

2. The cover of Moon Called caught my eye at the bookstore. I read the blurb on the back and had to get the book.
3. Bone Crossed is my fave so far.
1.Danielle
2.I buy most, or all of the nonerotic werewolf books. I am pretty obsessed with werewolf fiction. I read Moon Crossed, and I was hooked. I think PB writes the best werewolves I've ever read. Now, I want to read all her books.
3.So far, Mercy Thompson. I love Mercy. She's an awesome character. Strong, but human. Very relateable. I am huge Adam fan. So I will probably annoy you all going on about how much I love Adam. I have only read the first two Mercy books, and I am on the second Alpha and Omega story. I feel so connected to this books. It's kind of crazy.

2.I became a fan when Moon called came out. I liked the more urban feel of it and I am becoming a solid fan of more types of urban fantasy.
3.Silver Borne, cry wolf, Alpha and Omega. Any of the Mercy Thompson books. I have some of her fantasy novels but haven't gotten around to them yet.
Welcome everyone. Thanks for joining! I'm glad there are other fans of this series who want to chat.

1) Nickee
2) I became a fan from the very start and I liked the strong urban fantasy elements which was a change from all the romance I was reading. I'd naturally come to Briggs on the heels of Kelley Armstrong and Carrie Vaughn.
3)I believe I like Blood Bound and Iron Kissed best.
I think I am really really wanting a story purely about Samuel...well because Charles got his own story.

2. I was surfing Amazon looking for UF titles that I hadn't read. I ordered Moon Called because it had werewolves in it--I figured anything with werewolves had to be good, right? When the book arrived the cover almost caused me not to read it. It sat on my dresser for a couple of months and I finally picked it up. I was hooked by the end of chapter one. The "Mercy" world is so unique and completely plausible for me. I adore these books!
3. My favorite--tough to choose, but I love Iron Kissed. Might be because it's the most recent book.

2.How did you become a fan of Patricia Briggs and why are you a fan of hers?
I heard of her on amazon lists some time ago but didn't get around to reading her until reading Danielle's review on my friends update page. I was intrigued and started Moon Called straight away.
I love everything about the Mercy Thompson series. The characters, the intriguing world, how everything is connected, the humor... I haven't been this excited about a series since Harry Potter.
3.Favorite books by Patricia Briggs
Moon Called, Iron Kissed, Blood Bound, Bone Crossed and Silver Borne

2.How did you become a fan of Patricia Briggs and why are you a fan of hers? I have a friend that works at the library and she told me about the Mercy books when there were only 2, I read those, loved them, and then got all the others that she had written up to that point to, to check the rest of her work out.
3.Favorite books by Patricia Briggs The Mercy books are my favorites, I can't single one of them out because they all are great!!

2. Moon Called was recommended to me here on goodreads in Feb's Pick it for me Challenge. I have been hooked sinced.
3. I loved all the Mercy books and I only have Hunting Ground left to read in the Alpha and Omega series. I can't realy pick a favorite, but if I had to it would be between Silver Borne and Cry Wolf.
I really want to read her other fantasy books, but Hear they are not romance some I'm kinda holding out.

2. I was searching for a good book post Twilight and I came across Moon Called. The shapeshifting looked cool and it was set locally. I was sold!
3. My favorite is definitely Cry Wolf. Oh yeah.

Hi every one im Angela
I haven't read any of her books yet they are still on hold at my library, i wish they would come in already!!
can't wait to chat to you all about these books they sounds awesome!!!

I became a fan if her books as soon as I started to read moon called. I love vampire/werewolf/paranormal novels so it was natural progression that lead me to pick up one of her books.
Moon Called, Blood Bound and Iron Kissed are the only books I have read of hers so far, but I am hunting bookstores looking for the rest.

2. Friends at Amazon paranormal romance forum recommeded the Mercy Thompson books so I tried them out even though I was't sure about the love triangle and urban fantasy. Of course I loved the series! I also enjoy the Alpha and Omega series
3. I loved all the Mercy Thompson books, she is a great heroine!

2. they were recommended on Amazon. I havent read the Alpha and Omega yet but i will!!
3. Love Mercy, love all the characters....love her feistiness!!

2.I kept seeing them at the bookstore. I finally decided I needed to read them and became addicted.
3. I can't pick. It's either Silver Borne or Cry Wolf.

2. I don't even know - I've been a Briggs fan forever- I've even got a copy of Masques.
3. I loved the new book, but need to let it settle. the Hurog books had some cool underdog revenge stuff. I think my favorite may be the Hob's Bargain though.

2. I can't really remember how I started PB's books. I guess it was all the Mercy talk on all the boards. And since I'm an UF girl, I needed to read these series.
I ready Mercy #1 and thought it was okay. Loved Mercy #2 but am ashamed to say that I haven't read the third one (or the later ones) yet.
3. I read the anthology On the Prowl because of my favorite author (Karen Chance). I read the Alpha & Omega story and was captivated. Such a sweet story.
I loved the angst and the vulnerability and the tenderness between Charles and Anna. That's why I liked Cry Wolf, although I wasn't too in love with the general plot.
I did love and adore Hunting Ground. It's my favorite Patty Briggs book :)

I'm Shannon. I ordered the original Mercy book based on Amazon suggestions and reader reviews. Mercy and the spin off A&O series are some of my all time favs now. Fantastic mix of action, adventure, mystery, suspense and romance. Briggs does a terrific job with world building and writes characters that I think about long after I finish reading the book. Her storylines are fast paced and highly original.
It's hard for me to name my favorite books by Patricia Briggs, because I really love every book in both the Mercy and A&O series.

Glad to see you guys here. Mel, I definitely agree with you about the Alpha and Omega books. Charles and Anna have such a deep relationship. Michelle, I'm a novice to PB, but I love what I've read so much!

I've also just started the Mercy Thompson series too. Honestly I can't pick between which is better because they are both great in their own right.

To me Briggs is in the company of Andre Norton (whose writing she reminds me of), or Marion Zimmer Bradley. Her writing is the most well rounded stuff in Paranormal IMO.

I first read Moon Called after Hurrican Ike hit Southeast Texas. I stayed up in Dallas for a week and needed something to pass the time in the hotel. OMG am I glad I grabbed it! I LOVE Patricia Briggs and though I've only read the Mercy Thompson/Alpha/Omega books, i'm sure I'd love her others as well.
My faves are the Mercy Thompson books, I'd love to meet Mercy if she were real! I'm very fond of the Alpha/Omega book too.

I've also just start..."
The prequel in On the Prowl is a good one to start with. I've recommended the prequel to everyone that I know!

I say I think because I think I may have read Hobbs bargian before but when I was going back to read everything I could find of hers, read it again and thought, this is familiar....
But once I read Moon called it was all over...I was a fan!

I'v..."
I agree about the prequel. It really cements the bond between Charles and Anna. You could pick it up from Cry Wolf, but I don't think you could get the full magnitude of their bond without reading how it came about.

I'm game!"
Can someone pack me in their suitcase?

Soon next month or so it's available for preorder from Amazon

I just recently saw her at a book signing in Houston and she was so wonderfully nice and gracious. Not to mention she signed EVERY book people brought. EVERY ONE! And some people brought a copy of every one of her books!
