I'm about halfway through A Memory of Lions and really enjoying it. This novel is set after the Norman Conquest and the Harrying of the North and deals with the Saxon/Norman cultural differences.

He's also got one about Harold Godwinsson (the name escapes me but Laura just added it to her shelf), as well as a series on Robin Hood, et al that comes highly recommended.

My library doesn't have any thing by this author! But some of them are available cheaply through Amazon Marketplace. I think I'll start with Memory of Lions.

Don't forget ILL. My Library has the one on Harold as well as the Robin Hood ones and they participate in the program.
