What are you initial thoughts on this book? I'll be picking it up later today ...

I voted for Stealing the Elf-King's Roses, the premise sounded interesting. I should start on it tomorrow.

PS: FWIW, I'm about 1/3 into The White Wolf's Son: The Albino Underground and finding it a mixed bag of interesting writing but an unbelievable main character.
I read to 34% so far, there are a lot of interesting ideas being thrown about.
I'm only about 14% into the book and the plot is just starting up - it appears like it's going to be an odd mix of urban fantasy without all the darkness and a cop drama .... I'm curious where its going to go.
Finished it just now, was a decent read and kept my interest to the end. Not much to say without spoilers, but I thought there were some fun concepts being played with here, but not in a terribly heady way (for good or for bad).

My only criticism so far is that I got bogged down and a little bored with all the details of the fairy gold market manipulations, but I have to put that down to the fact that I hated economics in college and haven't changed my mind about it since then.
I am curious to see where the story goes. In fact, I was hoping this was a series because I like the characters so much but apparently it's a stand-alone book. Too bad.

I'm surprised, as I like some of Diane Duane's other stuff.
