Plots can be icky. We'll help if we can! Before you use this topic, though, please have a basic idea of your plot. We're not going to come up with the story for you.

Plot help. This reminds me, I have a lot of work to do on Nameless. *runs away*

Oooh, Nameless. I have a Nameless right now myself, although I call it The New Story. I think I'm going to treat this summer like Nano and finish it in three months. I'm considering it.

That was my goal for nameless. Key word. Was.

Stormy now has a really cool personality, and I can't wait to write about her.

I would like a bit of help with one of my books, please! :)
I basically have it all down but right now it lacks a bit of origanality. I just think it's fairly predictable.

Okay, so Allegra is abused by her flighty parents who drink too much. She has a best freind named Cara who knoes everything about her. Cara is a pastors daughter and therefore has a poor relationship with her father. (Because he expects so much out of her.) Cara goes on a pastor's retreat with her family and is raped and ends up pregnant. (I'm seriously considering if the whole pregnancy thing is needed at all.) She doesn't tell anyone and shuns her only and best freind, Allegra. Allegra tries to find out why Cara is acting the way she is and so she can help her. She meets Tristan who is determained to help her. They fall in love. I'm not sure if it will end with Tristan and Allegra going their seperate ways or staying together.

Okay, so like I said. Can anyone help me with origanality?

Just throwing this out there- Allegra is an allergy medication. Just something to take under consideration.

It's fairly predictable, yes. You should kill someone. That is my solution to all.

I LIKED NIX, I just thought it should be spelled Nyx. Coley was a newb I hated, and I like Allegra, I'm just saying that it's an allergy medication! sheesh.

So I just came up with my first plot that I am really proud of a lot, and it's for my new story. There is a lot of gritty stuff like romantic affairs and murder and more murder.

I only have one story completely plotted out. And when I say completely... well, whatever. It's going to be a shorter story though, I can tell.

I've only ever finished one story and now I am going to go back and rewrite it because my brain hates me, apparently. Ugh...I will start right on that as soon as I am finished with Frozen Revenge...

I have one story plotted but I've found that when I plot them I can't write them. :-S

It really depends on the writer and the story, I think. Some of the best writing I've ever done has been for an unplanned story, but some of the worst has as well.

Yes. At least its easier for me. You should know alot of what's supposed to happen, even if it doesn't turn out that way. Otherwise you might just sound random.

Yes, but that's what editing is for. Oftentimes I outline it chapter by chapter, and then there's just no fun in it and get bored.

True, true. I'd say outline or makes notes as much as you feel like you need to, and you can always do more if you want later.

I only seem to have two modes, outlining chapter-by-chapter or flying completely blind.

I thought Niki was a genius. >.< no I had an 81 and spent all week studying or teh final. I got an 80 on the final. Lucky me. If I got a C my mom was going to make me retake the class over the summer.
