Sweet! *thinks* I'll do Mei!
"Mother?" Mei ran home after kindergarten; her last day of it. Peaking her head into the house, she expected to find her mother already there, waiting anxiously for her. But she wasn't. Neither were her brothers or sisters. "Mother? Brian?" She called again. This was beyond strange....
She wandered into her house which made every part of her tingle in fear. Where was everyone? Did they leave somewhere without her or a note to show her where they went? Sounded very unlike her mom.
"Brian? Khala?" She tried calling all of her siblings names that she knew were still in town. "Chang? Yi-Yan?" When no one answered, she felt even more scared.
"Mei?" Someone called her name. She rushed towards the voice eagerly wanting comfort. She found two figures; only one of whom she knew. One was her dad who had left long ago for some reason (her mother never told her). The other was a tall, thin young lady with bright pink highlighted blond hair. She wore what looked like a white smock over her clothes.
"Dad?" Mei questioned. "Who is that?"
"My assistant," He said in a rather uncharacteristic way.
"Do you know where mother is?" She asked, feeling very uncomfortable.
"Oh your mom is okay, dear," The lady said. "Don't worry about her."
"Worry about yourself, Mei!" A voice came from the back room. It sounded like her brother, Brian.
"Bri?" She looked for him franticly. She rushed into the room; finding the horror of her life. Her brothers and sisters were all boarded up in small, metal crates like dogs. They're eyes were full of worry; some full of hate. The worst sight was her mother. She lie on the ground, blood spilling from her chest.
"Mother!" She screamed. Her cry was muffled by a hand closing over her mouth. The lady with the pink hair loomed over her, her purple eye shadowed eyes looking right at her.
"Shush child!" She scolded.
What was going on?! Mei wondered.
"Put her in the empty cage," Her father pointed to another crate. The lady stuffed her in like a sack of potatoes, closing the door seconds after.
"Dad! What are you doing?!" She cried.
Her dad didn't answer. He stuck a shot though the bars of her cage and into her skin. Moments later, she was out.
((To be continued cause I feel like it! XD))

Spearmint cartwheeled into the house. As usual, nobody was at home. Mother working, Daddy dead. Sable followed at a slower pace. They ran into their silver room, only to be grabbed roughly, as they hurtled out the door and into cages.
Okay I'm bored! Continuing!
She woke up in a room much different from the one she fell asleep in. Cages lines the walls; half of them filled with people....strange people. Some of them had ears, others tails. And quite a few had wings. Most of them looked scared and sad. She heard the door slam. Out came the same girl who was there earlier; the one with the pink hair. She was carrying a limp body that looked like it had a skin disease. She put it in a nearby cage.
"Oh your awake aren't you?" She walked over to her cage and opened it, grabbing her and pulling her out. "Your father wants to see you."

Mimi was sitting on the steps of her front porch, when her brother ran up, yanked her up, and ran. They weren't fast enough. Mimi was caught; her brother killed
"Where are we?" Spearmint mumbled, shaking long black waves out of her hair, spotting Charmian and Sable.
"Eew!" Mimi shrieked, as she unknowingly spun a silk thread from her fingertips. Her scream brought in whitecoats, and as they watched, she unintentionally set the silk on fire.

((Adrian is like...11?))
Adrian walked back home from school, kicking a few rocks out of the way. He was thinking about his father, who had suddenly disappeared one day after work. Sighing, he pushed open the door to his home and stepped inside, carefully setting his backpack on the floor.
His mother was there, cutting carrots in the sink and washing them. She looked distracted by something. As Adrian walked into the room, she turned and said, "Hon, a group from the National Studies of Urban Nature called and they're going to come in an hour or so. Go put on some nice clothes, will you?"
Adrian did as she said, thinking. National Sudies of Urban Nature? What's that? I've never heard of them before... Shrugging, he headed downstairs just in time to see a line of fancy black cars headed towards their driveway. Peeking through the living room, he noticed that the people who came out really did look like scientists. What do they want?
His mother hurried to the door. "Oh, please, come in," she said, ushering them inside. "Take a seat and make yourselves comfortable."
An uneasy feeling started to grow inside Adrian's stomach. Something about these people didn't seem...right. Sure they were polite and everything, but they seemed cold. Very cold. His mom didn't notice.
"We need your son," one of them said, "to help us in our research."
"My son?"
"Yes. For example..." The leader rummaged around in his bag and pulled out a small syringe. "This liquid contains molecules that are completely safe, but stabilizes the brain. It has been tested many times, so don't worry." Before Adrian or his mother could do anything, the scientist had already inserted the needle through his arm. Almost immediately, Adrian felt numb and toppled to the floor. His eyes snapped closed and he felt his heart slowing.
"Oh dear," he heard the scientist say, bending over him and putting a freezing cold hand on his wrist. "I...I'm so sorry, Mrs. Leron. It seems..." He placed his hand on Adrian's pulse. "Your son is dead. The syringe isn't as safe as I thought, perhaps the brain of your son is not accustomed to the ingredients in here...we will get him to the hospital right away."
"Adrian!" his mother shrieked, coming close to him but, by the sound of it, being pushed away, "Adrian!" With his mother's sobs ringing in his hears, Adrian wanted to shout out, 'I'm fine mom! These idiots think I'm dead!' but he couldn't do anything. After a few moments, everything slowly faded to black.
Adrian woke up in a white room. In a cage. A man, the same one who had taken him away, bent over him. "Where am I?!" Adrian managed to yell. "Why am I in a cage?"
The man merely frowned and wrote down something on his clipboard. He handed him a mirror. "Take a look," he smirked.
At first, Adrian thought that he was still dreaming. But with a horrifying realization, he found out that he did have wings. And claws. A mutation between a falcon and a human.
"You've been asleep for 21 days now," the man confirmed. "I believe that, after such a long time, you'd like to see your mother?"
Speechless, angry, and confused, Adrian only said, "At least get me out of this cage, dammit."
"Oh, temper, temper," the guy replied, grinning cruelly, but let him out of the cage under the condition that he still had to wear chains around his ankles and wrists.
They stopped outside a small hallway that led to the entrance. The scientist took out a key and unlocked it. "Come on, mutant," he sneered, pushing him in.
Mutant? What did they do to me? Adrian first wondered, shivering a little. Then he saw his mother standing next to the door.
Her normally bright eyes were dull and her hair seemed like she hadn't brushed through it in weeks. She had dark circles under her eyes and stared at her son in disbelief. "Adrian? But you're dead! Even I saw you!"
"I survived," Adrian managed to convince her. "I'm fine."
She nodded slowly, tears coming to her eyes. "That's my boy." Then her eyes flickered over to his wings and grew dull again. "You have wings..."
"Yeah."
"...You...you can't be my son," she wailed, the hope out of her voice. "You can't. My son's not a monster. My son is still alive out there, somewhere..."
"But I'm your son! I'm Adrian! They...I don't know what the scientists did to me, but I am your son, I swear!"
"No, never," his mom shook her head, her eyes sorrowful and frightened. "My son is not a monster like you." She turned and walked away.
The scientist grinned at the stunned Adrian and led him back to the lab. At that point, Adrian didn't care. She was...scared. Of me. His mother's words were forever imprinted in his mind with the image of her back turned on him. My son's not a monster like you...

((Tank))
Harold smiled at the energetic little boy who ran excitedly through the halls of the School every day, bringing him his lunch. He picked up his son, and sat him on his lap. "Thank you Tank. What did you and Mommy pack for me today?" Tank grinned serenely at his father. "Mommy said I wasn't allowed to tell you, or I couldn't hold Cindy or Gill after lunch." Harold pretended
to be astonished that Mommy could be so mean in her punishments. "Well, you'd better not tell me then." He set Tank down on the ground, and watched as he ran out the door, to go back home.
Tank scampered out of Harold's office, and noticed a strange man in a white coat watching him, taking notes on a clipboard. He smiled, and walked over. He looked up at the man, smiled, and stuck out his hand. "My name's Tank. Nice to meet you!" He shook the man's hand, and ran the rest of the way to his house. He burst through the door, and screamed "Mommy, I'm home! I did what you said! I didn't tell Daddy what we made for his lunch!" His smile grew as his mther walked into the room. "Can I hold Gill and Cindy?" ((keep in mind, Tank is about 5 at this point, and Gill and Cindy are around 2)) His mommy smiled back at him. "You need to eat your lunch first, and then you can hold them."

((continueing on w/ Tank's story... now Tank age: 8 Cindy and Gill age: 5))
Tank led Cindy and Gill into Harold's office. The smiled at their father, and said, in unison "Hi Daddy!" Harold looked down at his three children, and smiled. "You three, come with me." He led them down the hall, into a room with tables. ((from KIDS point of view, so they hv NO clue what's going on)) Cindy looked up at her father. "Daddy, what's going on? Why did you bring us back here? You told us we could NEVER come back here!" Gill heard the slight tremor in her voice, and moved closer to her, trying to comfort his twin. Harold looked down at them, wishing there was another way. "Gill, come over here. Cindy, Tank, wait here." He led Gill into a small side room, where he handed him over to some people wearing long white coats. "Now remember, he get fish and a bird." Gill's eyes lit with exictement, thinking he was going to be given some pets. The child was surprised, but not afraid, as the strange people put needles in his arm. The last thing the he saw before slipping into unconciousness was his father, staring at him mournfully.
((Tank and Cindy))
Tank fidgeted while he waited for Harold to come back. He stared around him in awe, Cindy standing next to him. They had never expected to be permitted entrance into that room. Ever. He bounced excitedly as their father came back out of the room. Not knowing what had just happened to their brother, they were eager to find out what was going on. "Daddy? What's going on?" Harold just smiled tiredly, held Tank and Cindy's hands, and led them to another room. He let go off their hands, turned, and left without a word. Tank stared after his father, hurt that he was being left all alone. Cindy watched him go, confused by Harold's lack of compassion.

((couple days later))
Cindy opened her eyes a crack, and blinked. The room was way too bright. As her eyes adjusted, she opened them wider and observed the room she was in. She looked around, and saw that the world was separated from her by bars. She yelped in shock when she realized that the bars surrounded her. She saw other kids in cages, and glanced down at her hands. She squealed when she noticed they were covered with fur. Glancing over, she saw Tank sitting forlornly in another cage, by himself. She crawled, as best she could, to the edge of cage, and whispered "Psst! Tank!" He looked over, then away, towards the door to the room. Cindy sat back, wanting to cry. She lay down and fell asleep. When she next opened her eyes, she was back in the room again. This time, before Harold left, he said, to the whitecoats, "Make sure she gets a cat and a bird." He smiled at her, and hurried out of the room.

Cindy shivered as the needle went into her arm, and felt the sweetness of sleep creeping up on her. The next concious thought she had was If this is a dream, it's a nightmare. She opened her eyes, and gasped. "Gill!" He was laying in his cage, unconcious. She rattled the bars of her cage, but snatched her hands back as she felt the electricity spark along the metal. She glared insolently at the room in general, then glanced out the window. Oh no. What did Daddy do to us? She had seen Tank go shooting past the window, flying through the air. She twisted around, and nearly fainted from shock. She had wings! She looked back over at Gill, and noticed that he had wings too.
Gill stirred, and opened his eyes. The first thing he saw was Cindy, sitting in a cage, looking lost. He sat up, trying to help her, and hit his head on the top of the cage. He yelped in pain as his scalp was shocked, and sat so that he was in no danger of being electrocuted. "Cindy, what's going on?" He turned around as Harold walked into the room.
Harold stopped, seeing both his children were awake, and smiled. I'm glad they both made it through the operation alright. He walked over to them, and knelt before their cages. "Well you two, how are you feeling?" He chuckled as Cindy stared at him, unblinking, and Gill glared at him as if looks could kill. "Neither of you should be angry. You have been improved! Now you can fly, and run faster, and hold you breath longer. Tank's already outside, having a grand time."

((Carol is...7?))
Carol woke up, rubbing her sore arms. "Ow," she said, then suddenly noticing her surroundings. In a room with other kids in cages. "How did I get here?" She grabbed onto the bars. Spotting a nearby adult wearing a white coat, she asked politely, "'Scuse me sir, but...where's my mommy?"
The person mocked her voice. "Your mommy is not here." He leaned forward and sneered, "She's dead, little girl. You know what that means?" He left the room, leaving her confused. And then she remembered.
The troop of people came storming into their quiet home and had grabbed Carol by the wrists. "She's coming with us," they growled. Her mother, father, and sibling had cried, "Stop! No! You can't take her!" and were shot down by two people standing on either side of the man who was restraining Carol. He struck a heavy blow to her head and she crumpled to the ground, her screams drowned out by the whirrs of the helicopter blades.
And now she found herself in a cage. She gripped onto the bars as if for dear life, tears forming in her eyes. She angrily wiped them from her face and took a look around. Other kids were there, too. Some looked even younger than she was. She bit her lip, trying not to cry. After all, her parents wouldn't want her to cry now, would they...? With a jolt, she realized that there was blood coming from her mouth and cleaned that up with her shirt sleeve. Sitting down, she felt something on her back and turned. A tail. I have a tail.

Spearmint gawked at her wings. No. Yes. No.
A day or so later, Carol was still in her cage, fuming. A lady came nearby and smiled a sickly smile at her. "Mutant," she sneered tauntingly, poking a plump finger into her cage. "If it weren't for us, you'd be dead right now. Just like your family. If it weren't for us, you'd be rotting in a graveyard or--"
Carol couldn't hold her anger any longer. She shot forward with speed impossible for a human and bit the lady on the finger. With a muffled scream, the scientist fell to the floor, dead. The other kids stared at her with a mixture of awe and fear.
"I...I killed her," she said numbly, her eyes blank. Turning to the nearby mirror on the wall, she opened her mouth wide. Fangs. She shuddered and held her head down. What would her parents say if they found out she had killed someone? She was no better than one of these crazy scientists, then.

((Not sure how to build up to it so........... Two years after Dee is tricked into working at the School.))
Dee unlocked Bergin's cage, feeling as miserable as ever. If he tried to escape, she wouldn't stop him. She's seen too much of what they did here. Bergin looked at her for a second, then crawled out of the cage. He didn't attack. That was why they sent her now, instead of anyone else. The fact that Bergin treated her so differently sent waves of emotion through her, though she wasn't sure to what end. As they walked down the hallways, she was startled to find herself crying. She looked at Bergin, seeing that he was startled as well. "What's wrong?"
The consern only made the tears start afresh, and she suddenly understood why. After everything they do to him, he's still conserned about me. Even though I work with them.
Not wanting to be seen crying by the others who walked the halls, she pulled him inot an empty room that they were passing, slumping against the wall as the door closed. "I can't take it any more," she sobbed. "What they do here, putting people in cages..........."
"Shhh," soothed Bergin, "It's not your fault. You didn't do it."
"But I help," sobbed Dee.
"Did you mean to?" asked Bergin. "Did anyone ever tell you what they did?"
"No," said Dee, voice breaking. She looked up. He was much closer than she'd thought.
"That's all that matters," said Bergin quietly.
She was about to protest, and that was when he kissed her. All thought fled from her head, leaving only the realization that this was what she had been hoping for, a sign that he had fallen in love with her as much as she had with him.

Slicer skipped home happily from school, eager to tell her younger sister about her day. She stopped when she saw her house. It was on fire. She raced the rest of the way, trying not to panic. It's okay, my family's alright. They have to be! She looked around, regretting that her mother had chosen a remote house in the middle of nowhere. She looked frantically for her mother or sister, finding neither of them. She sat down in front of the house, and started to sob uncontrolably. They're gone. They're really gone. She sat there, and didn't notice a car pull up behind her. A man stepped out, and walked up silently behind her. She jumped when he put his hand on her shoulder, and looked up at him. He smiled down at her, and told her that she was to come with him. She was lost about what to do, and climbed gratefully into his car. She sat and stared out the window the entire ride, and said nothing. The man, realizing she didn't want to talk, left her to her thoughts. The car pulled up in front of a building, and the man opened the door. "Welcome to the School." He smiled, and ushered her down some hallways, into a lab. Slicer looked around, unsure of what the man wanted of her. He lifted her onto one of the tables, and stuck a needle into her arm. She looked at him, her eyes full of fear and confusion. In seconds, she was unconcious.
When Slicer woke, she was in a room full of other children in cages.((enter into roleplay))

Ever since the incident with her fangs, Carol was being handled extra carefully. One day, the whitecoats brought her into a training area the size of a football field. The lady with the stopwatch pursed her lips and adjusted her glasses. "Start."
Carol felt a jolt course through her and began to run, finishing a lap in exactly 1.3 seconds. The strange thing was that she didn't feel tired at all. In fact, she wasn't even sweating. A breeze came over and she blew at it, creating a small whirlwind.
The whitecoats looked surprised. "Looks like we have another interesting addition to her power," they muttered to each other. The lady smiled at Carol. "Well, in that case, we have a surprise for you."
Chaining her hands again, they lead her to another lab room filled with different and even more mutants. One of the whitecoats went over to unlock a cage in a corner and dragged something out. Carol stifled a gasp. It was her 11-year-old cousin Adrian. He had dark circles under his usually alert eyes, which widened in half disbelief and half horror when he saw her. "...You're here too?"
She nodded, biting her lip. "Where's Auntie?"
"She...she had to go somewhere," he mumbled, averting his gaze and trying to break free from the whitecoat's grip.
"Oh," Carol replied, confused. "We'll see her soon though, right?"
Adrian was quiet for a few seconds and then suddenly yelled, "No, stupid! She thinks we're monsters! She doesn't want to see us, even if we visit her!"
"Sorry," Carol whimpered, stunned by this outrage. "I...I didn't mean to..."
Adrian merely shook his head, his eyes back on the floor. "That's okay. You're too little to get it." He stayed quiet and the whitecoats led her back to the other room.

((Fwit? If Mimi was behind Carol, they'd know each other. And they never knew each other until they were introduced, so that doesn't really make sense. And how would she know Carol's name in the first place? Sorry if I'm annoying you, just food for thought... ^^))

((Seinna, ooh))
"Mommy? Where are we going?" the 6 year old Seinna asked. "Shut up child." her mother responded, shoving her roughly. "Owie, Mommy stop it!" Seinna said grumpily, crossing her arms. "I said shut up child." her mother growled, pulling her into a dark office. "Mommy..?" Seinna asked. "Oh I'm more than just your mommy." a voice said. Seinna whirled to see yellow eyes peering from the corner of the room. "Mommy?" she whispered. Suddenly the eyes were comign towards her....fast. Weight pushed her onto the ground, and she blacked out.
----
((Seinna at 13))
Seinna ran, tearing through the trees, Silencers following her, hot in pursuit. She dove into a bush, gasping to catch her breath. "Where'd that mutant go?" a voice hissed, "I dont know Vander, shut up!" a female voice replied. "M-mother?" Seinna asked, standing. The woman turned quickly, "Ah little mutant......" she said. Seinna grinned, assuming it was her mother. "You wish I still was!" the woman said with a pounce, pulling Seinna into the air. "Let me go! Let me go!" Seinna screamed. "Too bad about your memories...." the woman said, her eyes turning from yellow, to blue to green and then black. Seinna woke with a start, barely remembering who she was. And she wandered like that for 3 years....in search of what her memory sought.....something called the Fleet.

Mimi knew she was a lab kid. The whitecoats had rubbed it into her face so often.
"Oh your awake aren't you?" She walked over to her cage and opened it, grabbing her and pulling her out. "Your father wants to see you."
The girl flopped Mei onto a cold, steel, table; much like the ones she saw at the vet's office. She sat there for a few moment, drowsy, before her father walked in dressed in the same white smock.
"Morning Mei."
"Father? It's not morning. I..."
"It's morning, honey." He smiled in a strange way. "You slept all night long."
Mei couldn't quite get everything together. What was her dad doing?
"Dad..."
"Yes Mei?" He put some liquid into a shot thing.
"Are you gonna poke me with that?" She meant to ask him how her mom died but when she saw the shot, she just had to ask him.
"Poke? No," He grinned bigger. "Infuse, yes."
"In-what?"
He seemed to gesture towards the pink hair girl for something. Then her father came up, his caring eyes no longer having the familiar twinkle. Instead, it was something else. Something that made him stick the shot into her skin.

Adrian groaned, drawing his knees closer. He hadn't meant to snap at his cousin like that. After all, she was only 7. She probably wouldn't understand the situation they were in. Then, a sudden thought hit him. Where are her parents? And her sister? Having troubled worries, he furrowed his brow and pushed himself into the corner of his small cage, his wings covering his face.
Mei woke up again still on the cold steel table looking right into her father's eyes.
"Father...."
"She's alive," He smiled. "Good work Tamyra."
"Thanks," She heard the pink haired girl's voice coo. "Good choice Dr. Yi-Marton."
"Father?" He asked again. "What do you mean?"
"I know it's going to be hard to understand but look." He handed her a mirror. She looked in it to see someone; definitely not her. This person had ears under her fizzy black hair. Her skin was definitely dirty with some sort of black marker or something.
"But, Dad, this mirror's broken! It's not..." She looked at her hands holding the mirror. They had claws sticking out of her fingers and the same marker-like smudge on her hands.

((I feel like doing two at a time...let's do Markos!))
He was too young to remember how he got to the School. He vaugley remembered the needle that poked him sending him into a deep sleep but that's all. He didn't know if he actually had a mother or father or if he was an orphan. He thought he might of had his memory erased because he was the oldest of his siblings and he was 11 at the time. He remembered that because Sariah was 5 and Chloe was a baby.
They were nice people and let him live in a room with his siblings and a nursemaid who cared for them everyday. Sariah would say that she was just fattening them up but he hardly believed her.
There, he embraced family life. They got fed regular meals (his favorite being mac&cheese) and got regular care by the nursemaid insisting they call her Lily.
Then, when Chloe was 3, everything changed.
-----
"What are you putting on your food?!" Sariah screeched.
"Paparika," Chloe chirped.
"Paprika," He corrected.
"Why are you putting that stuff on? What is it?"
"She was watching Blue's Clues and wanted to try it." Lily smiled. "She actually liked it."
"But paprika on mashed potatoes?" Sariah stuck out her pink toung.
"I like it!" Chloe smiled. "Papariak!"
"Paprika," He corrected again.
"Papapika!" She cheered, bitting into her food.
"Pika?" Sariah giggled.
"Pika Pika! Funny word! I like it!"
"Hey, Chloe, you want a nickname?" Markos asked. "I call Sariah Sarah and Sariah calls Markos Mark."
"NICKNAME!" She pushed more paprika mashed potatoes into her mouth.
"We'll call you Pike, how's that?"
"Papapika Pike!"

((Aww, how cute!))
Carol was being tested on every day now. She had no energy to talk to the other kids, nor did she really want to in the first place. One day, she looked up at the calender, her now keen eyesight spotting the date. My birthday. She could hardly believe it. Turning eight years old in a cage, with no parents or siblings left. If she hadn't known otherwise, she would've sworn that she was in some sort of a nightmare.

The next day, Markos couln't find the newly nicknamed Pike anywhere.
"Hey, Pike? Chloe?" He kept calling and even woke Sariah up asking her if she knew anything about Pike.
"Pike's missing?!" Sariah was out in a flash. They looked in every hiding spot they could even in the closet where she liked to play. After searching everywhere twice, Sariah realized something.
"Where's Lily?!"

((Mei))
She couldn't stop screaming as she saw her hands. It really was her in the mirror!
"Dad! What have you done!? What have you done?!"
Tamyra slapped her on the head, shutting her up momentarily.
"Behave!" She snapped. But Mei wouldn't. She screamed and got the urge to scratch Tamyra. Without thinking, she dug her claws into Tamyra's blushed cheeks.
"Mei Yi!" Her father ran up and grabbed her. She snarled and scratched him right on the shoulders. She heard him cry out in pain. Tamyra wobbled over to a button near the table, her face bleeding. She spoke into a microphone like thing.
"Send help," She breathed. "Mutant...gone..." Mei jumped on her and bit her hand. She knocked her out and decided to go right for her father.
"Behave, Mei, behave!" Her father screamed as he got to his feet. "Didn't your mother teach you that?"
"You killed her! You killed her!" Mei screamed pouncing on him. "Why?"
"I didn't kill her!" He yelled back.
"I don't care!" She swiped his cheek. "I don't like you no more!"
Suddenly, strange wolf like things ran into the room. One of them pounced on her, knocking her to the ground. She was too frightened to fight back at all. The rank smell of it's breath and the sharpness of it's teeth made her go into immediate shock.
"Off, Igor!" Someone cried. The wolf thing got off of her. "Good catch." A flaming red-haired boy walked up to her and stuck another needle into her skin. She felt drowsy though she could still see and think.
She watched helplessly as the boy helped her father stand up and drag Tamyra to another smock wearing person down the hall who had wolf-things crowded around her.
"She's crazy!" She heard her father proclaim. "Much too dangerous for this small School."
"Oh just lock he up tight," The boy suggested. "She'll be fine."
"I can't do that to my own children!" He snarled. "Besides, your way to under-experienced, Mr. Bastard. You don't know what locking a vicious mutant can do; what problems it can create."
Mutant... She thought. What was that word?
"So what do we do?" The girl down the hall asked.
"Give her another chance. Then, send her away to a more developed School."
She couldn't stop screaming as she saw her hands. It really was her in the mirror!

Cherry couldn't believe it. These people took her out of school, and now she stopped growing. They called her a mutant.
"Where's Lily?!"
"Oh...my..." Markos' mouth dropped opened as he thought about it. He hadn't seen her all morning.
"She has Pike! " Sariah screeched. "That...that traitor! I knew those School people were just fattening us up!"
"Lily!?" Markos screamed, ignoring his sister.
"She's not here, Mark," Sariah grabbed him. "She's probably dead by now! Or worse; she looks like one of those little monsters we saw in the cages!"
He remembered what Sariah was talking about; the strange boy with the scales and fangs sitting in the bottom cage, the young girl with furry ears and a tail that looked like a birds and the worst of all, the wolf boy with the sharpest teeth he had ever seen and the most ugly face. Pike couln't of...she wouldn't...
"I'm back!" Lily sung, flinging the door opened.
"YOU!" Sariah jumped on Lily and began tugging at her black hair.
"Sariah!" Lily yelled. "What are you doing?"
"Where's Pike!?"
"Pike?!"
"Chloe!" Markos added.
"Where is she you witch!?" Sariah tried to bit her arm with her blunt, human teeth.
"Sariah please! I...I had no..." Lily picked her off and put her down gently before crouching down into a sob.

"Oh stop crying you wuss!" Sariah stood where Lily had placed her. "Where is Pike?!"
Lily didn't answer. She just kept crying, not even looking up. Markos saw that she was wearing a white coat similar to the ones the strange men and women wore in the School.
"Are....you a worker for the School?" Markos asked in shock.
Lily slowly nodded. "The assigned me to raise your family while your little sister grew. She was only so young when we got her and...you can't do experiments on children that young..."
"Experiments?!" Sariah snarled. "WHAT?!"
"I got attached to you!" Lily shouted, sobs choking up her words. "I couln't give you away. I convinced the Boss to let you live together until your sister turned two..."
"But she's three," Markos interrupted.
"I postponed it." Lily lifted up her head, letting her long black hair fall over her face. "I kept lying to them...telling them she wasn't ready...but...but...." She hid her face again and began to bawl.
"They found you out..." Markos bit his lip. Lily was so nice...
"I'm sorry..." Lily sobbed.
"So where is she, smartie?" Sariah piped up. "She better not be dead...."
"She's at a different School." She said. "Alive.
"Different School?!" He couldn't believe it. "There are more than one?!"
"Only a few...This...horrible...it's barley..." She couldn't finish her sentence.
"So...will we ever see her again?"
"I...I'm afraid...probably not."

((Mei))
Mei woke up in another cage. Back in the old cell... She sighed to herself. She stared at the blue tiled floor, wondering why her father would do this? First, kill mother, and then this? She pinched herself like Khala and Brian always did when they said they were dreaming. Nothing but a sharp pain to her arm happened.
One of the smock wearing men came in with a limp thing that looked almost like a big, fuzzy dog. He almost threw it into one of the cages across from her and locked it up. As the man walked away, Mei saw that the fuzzy thing looked very familiar...
"Khala?" She cried. "Khala?"
The fuzzy thing rolled over, groaning. It's eyes met hers. It was Khala!

He had long since use his flame manipulation to re-forged the legendary blade Kai'ipolani. He used the lance-like sword to annihilate the scientists and free his brothers. He fought to defend his brothers and try to free the other children before they became experiments while his brothers escaped. He lost his brothers and they havent been seen since. He has a feeling that his brothers are taking refuge in the skyseas and the three await the day that the black crescent of the Midnight Assassins will rule the skies once more. While searching for the Skyseas he found the Fleet

"Khala!"
"Mei?" Khala looked just as confused as she did; her now yellow eyes shining with worry and wonder. "What...what did they mutate you with?"
"Mu-what?" She asked. "What does that word mean?! I keep hearing it!"
"It means your no longer human," Khala got up and stretched.
"WHAT?"
"They take little bits of something in your skin called DNA and fuse it with the same bits of another animal. It...makes you a mutant. Your part animal and part human..."
Mei only grasped part of this. The 'your part animal' part of it.
"What did they mu..mutate you with, Khala?"
"A poodle," She picked at her fuzzy hair.
"Cool!"
"No not cool, Mei," She snarled.
Mei shut her mouth. Khala was right.
"Do you know what they mutated you with?
"No..." She sighed and scratched the side of her cage. "Hey! Where's Brian? Chang? Yi-Yan?"

((Markos))
Markos frowned. "But...but..."
"I'm really sorry, guys," Lily sobbed. "I...I tried to..."
"Susan?" A man in a white coat opened the door to the room. "I thought you said you were going to be back with the others!?"
"Mr. Johansen!" Lily stood up, drying off her tears.
"Why in the world are you crying, Susan?" Mr. Johansen growled.
"I...I stubbed my toe bad," She lied.
"Well stop being a sissy and get the other two! Their right in your reach!"
Lily turned her gaze towards Markos and Sariah. She looked like a hurting mother as she scooped them up in her arms and followed Mr. Johansen out of the room.

Here's Julia's (part of it. I'm going to add more...):
Julia looked out of the dusty orphanage window, closing her textbook as class ended. Her parents were dead somewhere and nobody wanted to adopt her. She didn't care much, though. All the other kids were being adopted quickly by lots of people. People who...looked the same. And wore white.
One day, a new kid came to the orphanage. He was of average height but seemed really quiet. Julia was curious. During class, she walked up to him and said, "I'm Julia, nice to meet you."
The boy looked up, surprised. "Oh. Um...hi. I'm Gavin." Then he grinned. "You're actually the first person to talk to me the whole time I've been here."
She and Gavin grew to be best friends over the seven years they spent together before he was adopted by the whitecoat people. "Promise to write, okay?" she had whispered to him. "Don't ever forget!"
Gavin had nodded solemnly. "I promise." Then he turned, walking in the middle of the couple who claimed him.
Why not me? Why can't I have a home? Julia wondered, until one day, the same two people who had adopted Gavin came to adopt her. She thought it was too good to be true until they took her to a hospital and knocked her out.
Julia woke up in a cage, her sides throbbing. A weird person wearing a lab coat approached her. "She doesn't look so good," he said to another person, who just shrugged and responded, "Only effects. She'll be better." They left the room.
Julia looked around. There were cages all around her, filled with kids and teenagers with the strangest things. Wings, tails...nevertheless, they were all staring at her. They look like the kids from the orphanage. But I don't see the guy here... With a horrifying realization, she turned to the nearby mirror and looked at her reflection. Her light brown hair was all white, her eyes were the purest black. She looked better than before. But why did she feel so...different? Like she wanted to hit something.
"Night demon," she heard a kid whisper. Her improved hearing could catch everything they said. Night demon? What? How?
It was then she discovered a new presence inside her head. Hello, Julia, a silky voice crooned. I am the night demon you were mutated with.
Ok-kay... Julia thought, confused. But how could you hear me?
Never mind that. Do you want to get out of here?
Yes, of course!
Then let me take care of this. You can't do such a big task by yourself.
With some doubt, Julia let the demon control her. She watched as her hands emmited a red-black substance that dissolved the bars and she easily stepped out. Wonderful, the demon laughed, enveloping her entire mind so that she could barely think. Now here comes the fun part.
Julia saw herself rise from the ground on new thin white wings and shoot the substance at the mutants. What are you doing?!
Kill, the demon hissed, joyful, as the other mutants dissolved. Whitecoats came in but she just swooped down and slashed through them easily with deadly black claws. Julia found herself struggling to regain her mind from the demon, but she was too weak. Her grip faltered and she plunged into unconsciousness, listening to the demon's cruel laughter ringing in her ears.
When she woke up, everything around her was in ruins. Blood and dead whitecoats were everywhere. She found that she could control herself again and stumbled out, trying not to vomit. As she stepped through the ruined doors, a cold hand gripped her. That was fun, wasn't it? the demon said, the silky voice tainted with an evil tone. We should do that again sometime.
As Julia walked out, whitecoats from helicopters began to come down. They took her in one, but she didn't struggle. Looking downwards at the collapsed, partly-dissolved school, Julia promised herself to not become vulnerable to the demon's power. She was never the same again.
((Have fun! :) ))
