These are fun little games to pass the time that everyone can join in on.

Please ask before starting a new game as I am trying to space out the games and challenges so there is something new all the time instead of all at once.

A bit of advice for anyone participating in the game threads:

** Make sure you read the initial post of any game, if you are unsure of the rules, or how a particular game is played in this group. Some rules do differ slightly from one group to another — for example, in the "Title and Author" and "Scavenger Hunt" games, we ask that titles be kept to mysteries.

** Make sure you are on the last page of posts before submitting an entry in any game.

** Don't just look at the last message posted, try to skim those above to make sure people are on the right page, haven't skipped a letter of the alphabet, or that a post wasn't missed.

** Keep in mind that we are all human, and mistakes do happen. If you do catch a mistake, politely call it to peoples' attention, e.g.:

"Heather, I think you missed post #1111 above," . . . "Heather, it looks like you and Kate posted at the same time" . . . or "Heather, I think you missed the page change, we are now on letter X" (Or, "we are now looking for [insert item]" if error is in the scavenger hunt).

** Please be courteous of other members, and no politics. Inappropriate posts will be deleted!
