Who do your characters look like? So we can picture them better, maybe we can say here what actor/actress they look sort of like, or just some picture. Or who we picture other characters like. I picture Rosa like that girl from Tuck Everlasting, because she's pretty but young and childish. There's no one I really picture Mary like, sort of Keira Knightly, but with darker hair, not really, just kinda.

Yeah, so you want us to put what our characters are like. How we made little comments describing them at the beginning of roleplay?

no, i mean like actors and stuff they look like, but that too, so we can kinda look at them easier instead of going waay back to look. or like just pic from google or soemthing you think looks like your character

or an actress. anyway, wutever it was just an idea, so i could picture characters better. this was my description of mary-
stunningly beautiful, with long dark hair and piercing blue eyes, thick black lashes, ivory skin, curvy, will look lovely in anything

Thanks for making this Allie! Fantastic idea! Basically, I picture Carolina to be a combination of both Gemma and Kartik. Physically and mentally. She is very beautiful, but doesn't know it (Gemma), she is stubborn and persistent, (Gemma) she doesn't know herself and longs to (Gemma), but she also has that mystery like Kartik, in some sense, I think she is better at watching Kamik than Kamik is at watching her!

Hm...I think Lilac hasn't been invented yet. I think her green eyes with flecks of gold are just what they seem. Her hair....a mix between Emma Watson's true color and Emily Osments blonde hair. She isn't really tall, probablly Emma Watsons height. You can decide if she's pretty or not, but she's not ugly, just so we're clear on that.

I picture Lilac kind of fierce, commanding, she's not gorgeous, she's not ugly, she's not average. That's the best way I can explain her. That's interesting Jesalina, I'll try to keep that in mind. So Jenny, you think Sahira looks like that girl? I kind of see her a little more innocent. Okay, so my summary of Carolina (looks wise) would be: Beautiful in a mysterious way, intense, tall.

Mostly she looks like that girl, she does look a bit more innocent then that her though. She also has a sort of weird disturbance about her too. Like she has seen way too much for an innocent girl.

You got her perfect too. she has Gemma's looks and like body (height), but Kartik's skin and hair color and also his mysteriousness.

Exactly! That would be the shorter story.

Plus, she is wise because she has sort of had to care for her mother a little bit through the pain right?

A little, but Gemma was very strong, and Carolina learned that from her.

Yeah, that's what I mean. Gemma is very independent, and Care learned that. but she had had to see her mother go through the pain of missing Kartik while she was growing up? Is that pretty close?

That would be it. Exactly it. She learned that you can be strong, but you need to let go and just feel from Gemma.

Yeah, I see Lilac as a fierce, but still pretty, girl who is not afraid of anything. She is very intimidating to others.

Rosa is innocent, but she's kind of, motherly almost at the same time, she knows her "place."

Yeah, she has an amazing tan though. Because her mother is from spain.

Hmmmm olive skin I think. Okay, on to....THE BOYS! (Chloe, you may want to skip this part).

Well, Jake is blonde, his hair long enough to reach the middle part of his ears, and it sort of flips out a tiny bit at the end. Of course he is muscular. He has a warm skin tone and he has a farmers tan that's sort of noticable. But, not really. Oh, and he is gorgeous, but his face is a lttle boyish, like he hasn't reached adulthood yet.

Kamik is obviously Kartik, only a idiot and a jerk. NEXT! Kidding, kidding. He's very observant, and hungers for power. And is obviously very good at wanting what he can have. Well, he can't really have Mary, but she's more attainable than Carolina.

How do you picture john?

Blonde, not long but a little past his ears, not a boys face,), sharpish lines on his jaw, thoughtful and gets frusterated easily.

Yeah, he looks a lot like Jake. Who should be older? John or Jacob? I was thinking John.

Carolina: Stubborn, kind, thoughtful, observant, witty, a good actress and sometimes hates it, sucks at english dancing but she's amazing when she just lets go.

Mary: Stubborn, kind, will do whatever she can to get what she wants

Rosa: Gentle, ladylike.

Sahira: Kind, shy, unsure of herself, a wonderful friend when you get to know her.

Lilac: Fierce, will fight for what she believes in.

Kamik: An idiot, that's all I have so far!

Jacob: Torn.

John: Frusterated easily.

john can be older, that's fine.
and if you read where i first described him, he has really dark brown hair and navy blue eyes, like jake, curling at his ears sorta. he has sharp lines like you said, like high cheekbones and a sharp jaw. he's tan like jake too, and tall, and with kinda a natural grace. and this is my elaborated picture of mary, now that i 'know' her better-

personalities-
Carolina- clever, sometimes shy about how she looks, stubborn, confident, can be serious but loves to laugh, mysterious

Mary Elizabeth- (this will be alot cuz she's my character) stubborn, sometimes vain and pompous, extremely loyal to her friends, wants freedom desperately but also likes victorian society with dancing and flirting, and looking pretty, dancing espesially, somewhat torn, loves to dance and be free of cares, just to laugh and run around sensitive but tries to hide it, observant, kind, bubbly, good at getting what she wants though sometimes hates herself for doing it, doesn't judge people by how they look, romantic. (warned you.)

Sahira- very very smart, confident with friends but somewhat shy with others, charming, somewhat romatic

Rosa- on the outside, the picture of a perfect victorian girl, and somewhat likes it like mary, but also wants to be free. shy, gentle, very romantic

Lilac- wild, fierce, hates victorian life, can change personalities quickly, somewhat sensitive inside but hides it, strong

Kamik- idiot, doesn't believe woman are equal to him, cocky, easily used by mary. maybe there's something more to him though...

Jacob- torn, loyal to both sides, sahira and the rakshana, kind, a little shy and unsure of himself

John- a little cocky, a good speaker, stubborn, sort of used to getting what he wants, and can get frustrated, strong sense of right and wrong

LOL, I think we all are going to have really long summaries for our characters!

Carolina: Mysterious, kind of thinks she's better then she really is, kind and gentle, wants what she can't have.

Mary Elizabeth: Hopeless romantic, Lilac thinks she's an evil witch,(no offense) Stunningly pretty to almost all men, stubborn, not afraid to scorn those of lower class, (part of which is why Lilac no likey her)

Sahira: Smallish, looks easily intimidated, graceful, sometimes extremely shy.

Rosa: The model lady, not known to have outbursts or fling potatoes at people.

Lilac: Has outbursts, scorns all of higher society of her, known to fling potatoes, fierce, fickle, barely loyal to one group of people for long, has been hurt more then anyone could know, but hides it well.

Kamik: Idiot, and if he keeps it up sure to be miraciously hurt by Lilac.

Jacob: Protective of Sahira, doesn't really know where his loyalties lie.

John: Bold, daring, bravest of the boys, has made an enemy of Lilac.

Okay, I love Chloe's, because it's the only one with faults! And perfect ones at that!

i'm not offended ex. scorning lower class. she doesn't! that's why she's so different, she doens't care wut freaking class you are, she just uses her rank sometimes, and she hates doing it

Hmmmmmm......I would disagree Allie. She does, just because she scorns doesn't mean she cares though. She just won't let anything stop her.

True, true, I'm just giving you my perspective of her. I didn't mean to get you upset. I know I would feel the same way if someone was forcing faults down my character's throat.

sry, i'm probably getting wayy to offended here. but that's my whole picture of mary. It's how she's different from the rest of victorian society. She's beautiful, but she likes people less pretty than her, and sometimes doesn't like being pretty. she's high ranking, but she doesn't really care, and would be friends with a farmer, or anyone, but she is noble and sometimes flaunts it, using it to get what she wants. but she doesn't despise people for beinglower ranked than her.

That's what I meant. She might use them, but not because she hates them.

yes, but that's not scorning them. she doesn't think she's better than them. she just knows that she has power, and will use it if she needs to, but only on enemies, or in joke.

It wasn't at all how I pictured Mary. Not one bit. And I just like saying 'scorned'. I read 4 of Shakespeare's plays in 2 days. I like old english right now.
