In the recent dust-up between Jodi Picoult and Jonathan Franzen, Picoult said Austen was a popular novelist. Was she right?

If you will look closer, you will see that this folder is for actual discussion of Jane Austen's novels. Your link also repeats the one you have already posted on our group. Therefore, rather than move it, we will simply delete this thread shortly.
