Steph (angel4492) | 32697 comments Since my modified "A-Z of You" wasn't a total bust, I thought I'd create a "1-2-3 of Me". It's similar, but slightly different, see below. :)

Tell us ... one unique fact associated with each number 1-3.

I'll start as an example:
* I have ONE sibling; a sister, 6 yrs younger than me
* I have TWO cats; Dexter, who's a mama's boy and a beast weighing in at 18# and Crystal, who's dainty and loves the lap, but on her own terms
* I'll be living in Okinawa for THREE years before moving on

See, easy! Now, you! :)

Too bad Dexter & Punkin' can't meet, bet that'd be a hoot. Esp since they both love to chill on the sofa. LOL!

message 6: by Anita (new)

Anita (a1momgram) Ohhhhhhhhh I use to have a fat orange cat named Punkin. I remember my son arugueing with the vet who kept calling the cat pumpkin. I think my son was 6 good memmoies. Loved that cat. Have four now. Long hair black and white (Tipper). Two brothers short hair grey/white (Simba and Safar) and our lone girl Miss Lily short hair black and white.

Steph (angel4492) | 32697 comments Pet lovers Unite! :) I can't imagine my life without pets at this point. My parents never let me have anything that didn't live in a bowl or a cage. So, having cats (and used to have a dog, a Sheltie named Sadie) is wonderful!

@Rebecca, I've seen/heard of hairless cats, but I don't think I have ever seen a hairless dog. Does he need a sweater in the winter? Always imagined those babies got cold easily.

LOL@Amber, "snotty children..."

@Shelleyrae Only three? Is one a pair of slippers (thongs, flip-flops, etc)? I can't imagine living without mine! I always choose comfort over fashion, bless my DH for lovin' me either way.

LOL@Kerstin Ditto on the book addiction! :D

message 12: by Brandi ;) (new)

Brandi ;) (clairadncr) | 14 comments Let's see...
I am the 1st born of 4 kids.
There are 2 furry hairballs (aka cats) that own my house and kindly allow my family to live in it.
I have 3 kids (ok, so i have 2 human children and 1, shhh I did not say this word, dog, but as far as I'm concerned she's my 1st born).
I too choose comfort over fashion. I own a hoodie that I swear I will wear until it falls off my body and as thread bare as it's getting, that's prob gonna be soon. But till then, no one is taking that oh soooo soft & worn in thing away from me. My mom groans every fall when i pull it out AGAIN :)

message 13: by Shelleyrae (new)

Shelleyrae at Book'd Out | 346 comments Yep - 1 pair of sneakers (joggers or what ever you guys call them)
1 pair of flip flops
1 pair of high heels (that arent very high)

I'd rather be barefoot and I have wide feet so its hard to find comfortable shoes. I wear them to death then buy another pair the exact same LOL

message 14: by Steph, Serious series addict (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 32697 comments LOL Brandi! :)

Ah, a girl after my own heart, Shelleyrae. Barefoot if possible, if not slippas for me! I have small (size 6) feet, which is great here in Japan, no more mass rows of size 8+ with one row for 6's. :)

Steph wrote: "@Rebecca, I've seen/heard of hairless cats, but I don't think I have ever seen a hairless dog. Does he need a sweater in the winter? Always imagined those babies got cold easily."

He has sweaters in the fall/spring, sun cream in the summer and coveralls in the winter. He even has little shoes for the really cold days ;)

message 16: by Steph, Serious series addict (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 32697 comments LMAO!! Never did, but I always wondered if my dog would've worn (kept on) those rain shoes. She hated going potty when it was raining, such the little princess. I bet he's cute though.

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

Well, he doesn't like shoes or clothes, although he doesn't like freezing his feet of or getting wet either, so. He's always hiding under the table when it's raining in hopes of no one finding him.

He's really cute! According to me anyway ;)

message 23: by Desperado (last edited Dec 22, 2010 08:24PM) (new)

Desperado (lethallovely) | 1360 comments I have ONE pet, a cat named Soldier. He spends his time giving me the finger.
I have TWO brothers who are 20 & 22 years older than me.
I have THREE goals in life: read, eat & make shweet shweet love.

message 24: by Steph, Serious series addict (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 32697 comments LOL!!! Wow! 20+ yrs older?! That's wild. Are ya'll close?

message 25: by Desperado (new)

Desperado (lethallovely) | 1360 comments Hahaha! Not as much as I would like. Because of the huge age difference, they'll always see me as their little sis, which sucks. I'm 20, in college & engaged, yet they still rough house me like I'm a 5-year-old in pigtails. And they threaten to kill any guy that looks at me. I've had to tell them many times "Dammit! I am not a child! I have boobs!" but they persist in ignoring me.

message 26: by Steph, Serious series addict (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 32697 comments LOL! That's cool though. It'd be wild having a sibling that much younger than me. I'm sure I'd mom them without meaning to, probably wouldn't be able to help myself.

message 28: by Jlyates (last edited Jan 09, 2011 03:42PM) (new)

Jlyates | 32 comments I have ONE daughter ( will be 30 this March)
I hvae TWO kids (daughter is oldest) son will be 28 in Jan.
I have THREE dogs who are our other children.

Oldest is Gypsy, a Manchester Terrier at age 15, middle child is a mixed Man Terrier and either Yorkie or Schn and she is so ugly she is cute. Her hame is Wendy but we call her furball, she answers to either.
Last is the monster, Ash; the girls are around 10 inches and 10 lbs, he is 27 inches and 65 lbs, a Wemie that is too smart for his own good.
I taught him to pick up things I drop, have mobility problems. He will sometimes raid the dirty laundry to bring me things so he will get his treats. If you drop ANYTHING he will hear it no matter where he is in the house and come charging to get it. This monster will either jump over the girls or send them rolling if they don't get out of his way. He also knows how to open doors and like any kid, he forgets to close them behind him.
We laughed ourselve silly over his antics when we got him for the first four months. He still pulls some cute ones.

Janette

I have 2 grandsons (11 & 4) and 2 cats
I have 3 addictions......coffee, Diet Coke, and books!

message 47: by Steph, Serious series addict (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 32697 comments Welcome, Will (Congrats on your Silver Anni) and Cindy!

Psst, Cindy, if you switch to fully leaded Coke, you can skip the coffee. ;) I mainline mine. LOL!!

Cindy (eclecticfirefly) (eclecticfirefly) | 1237 comments Can't do the fully leaded Coke, I'm diabetic. Besides, a hot cup of coffee is the ONLY thing that opens my eyes before 10 AM - and I have to be at work by 8:15......I have seriously considered seeing if it is possible to get caffienne thru an IV.

message 49: by Steph, Serious series addict (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 32697 comments Oh, I see. I've never been a fan of coffee, but I'm never without a cold can of Coke! LOL! I've joked that my blood must be fizzy and brown by now. :)

Cindy (eclecticfirefly) (eclecticfirefly) | 1237 comments I hope the next time you get blood drawn the person doing it doesn't freak out!!!!! LOL I've been drinking Diet Coke for so long now, I don't even like the "real" stuff any more.
