message 12: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (ghemomma) | 900 comments How do you feel about the snow, Heidi? I love it that we usually get snow one time a year here, and it only lasts a day or two.. any more than that and I would hate it! That's why I live in the South! LOL!

message 13: by Heidi (new)

Heidi | 871 comments I LOVE the snow! It makes everything so cozy! We usually end up with FEET of it and once it sticks to the ground, it stays wil about mid March. we are in what is called the snow blet of Western NY...we get all the lake effect snow off of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario(depending on which way the wind blows). Its so fun to go out and sled(our street is a huge hill)...then inside for hot chocolate and the fireplace to warm up...its a daily thing around here in winter. I actaully prefer the winter to summer.

message 14: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (ghemomma) | 900 comments It is beautiful to look at! I guess it would take growing up with it or just getting used to .... I just get so cold! I don't like being cold, and I like wearing flip flops! :)
