At Grave's End Book 3- I've been putting this off but I actually have to get them done in December
Destined for an Early Grave- book 4- Going to tie this one up.
Happy Ever After- last book in the series. Thanks for reminding me Dee.
I can't even think of the other series I need to finish like Lorelei James, Lora Leigh, etc.

0/8
Frostbite (Vampire Academy, #2) - book 2 - I'm not actually done with the first one yet, but I will be by tomorrow night and am loving it so far!
Finding Becky- book 3- This is the final book, I'm not as interested in this one as the two before it, as this will be a complete new character.
The Keepsake - book 2 - This is the Rizzoli and Isles series. I absolutely loved the first book. This is the only author I have tried in this genre, and I am interested in finding others.
Ink Exchange - book 2 - I am so excited to read this book! I have gotten so interested in reading about faeries.
A Dream to Call My Own - book 3 - This is the final book in this series. This series has kind of been leaving cliffhangers...so I'm really interested in finding out what happens next!
My Soul to Save - book 2 - I was very surprised by this series. I wasn't sure if I would like it, but the first book I read in 2 sittings.
Undead and Unappreciated - book 3 - This author just makes me laugh out loud! I am in love with this series.
Queen of Babble Gets Hitched - book 3 - This is the last book in this series. I really liked the first book, the second was ok, and I've been pushing off this third one. It looks like it is shorter than the others, so maybe it won't be so bad!

Progress: 0 of
1. Kiss of the Night by Sherrilyn Kenyon - Book #4 Dark-Hunter Series - I started reading this series last year and I have to say I have fallen in love with it. I skipped this book because I just had to read Night Play with Vane and Bride, but I don't want to miss a thing in this series.

Series Finished: 3

Discussion:Was the book you read a good addition to the series? How much are you anticipating the next book? (If series is finished with this book) How do you feel now that the series has ended?
It was a good addition to the series, although it focused more on the romance instead of the paranormal side. Since we are introduced to a new family member in the next book, am really looking forward to the next release.

Compared to the previous book in this series that i read, this book was just ok. The series has become more a comfort read than an exciting one, but i'll be reading the next book for sure.

The 2nd book was a good addition, although not as good as the 1st. I had some little issues with the heroine, but only due to personal preference. The 3rd book was on the other hand perfect. I was really happy to have received the arc copy.
I'm anxiously anticipating the next book. I hope that some of the brother of the heroine in book 3, is the next hero or the heroine's best friend, Amy with Logan.

can't say I was too pleased with this installment, not sure if i'll read more...Sinclair turned out to be really pussified during most of the book which ruined it for me...he got better by the end...but ugh!!

Finding Becky 12/02/10
Was the book you read a good addition to the series? How much are you anticipating the next book? (If series is finished with this book) How do you feel now that the series has ended? This was a great addition to the series. The second book in this series was alright, but this one was much better. I feel like it was a good series and this is the perfect place to end it.

Ink Exchange 12/03/10
Was the book you read a good addition to the series? How much are you anticipating the next book? (If series is finished with this book) How do you feel now that the series has ended? This was kind of disappointing compared to the first book. However, I do still intend on reading the next one, mostly in hopes that it will be as good as the first.

No wonder i keep putting off reading that one. I really enjoyed the first but mixed reviews have me going back and forth.

ROFLMAO! Another series i have yet to start. The mix reviews on different books just doesn't give me that push. I'm also not a fan of repetitive main characters on the entire series.

I am just on number 3, but I love it so far. It looks like there are 9 books in the series, so I don't know if I will make it that far. But at least they are easy fast reads!

Undead and Unappreciated 12/05/10
Was the book you read a good addition to the series? How much are you anticipating the next book? (If series is finished with this book) How do you feel now that the series has ended?I think it was a good addition to the series. However, it was not as funny as the first two, and it didn't seem like there was as much conflict as the first two either. I am still looking forward to book number 4 in this series.

1. and 2. Beyond Varallan and Endurance by S. L. Viehl - December 2nd and 3rd
These are fantastic science fiction/medical/romance books in the Stardoc series (books 2 and 3). I love the main character and was thrilled with the twist in her love life that occurred at the end of book 3. (The author also writes the Dark Kyn/Kyndrsed books, so I enjoy her paranormal romances as well.)
3. Renegade by Lora Leigh December 5th
As with all of the books in her Elite Ops series, the romance is almost more of the book that the thriller/suspense aspect, but I still really enjoyed it. I love the tension between the overly protective male and the female who wanted to take part in the investigation regardless.
4. Night's Pleasure by Amanda Ashley - December 6th
The fourth book in this series follows the estranged twin vampire and the daughter of vampire hunters, both overcoming lies, misdirection, secrets, and feelings of guilt to see where they should go next with their lives. I enjoyed seeing all the previous characters at the end of the book.

A Dream to Call My Own 12/07/10
Was the book you read a good addition to the series? How much are you anticipating the next book? (If series is finished with this book) How do you feel now that the series has ended? This book was awesome. It definitely finished this series. I feel like it ended right in the perfect spot. Now I will pick up another series by this author.

1/3
At Grave's End Book 3- I've been putting this off but I actually have to get them done in December
Destined for an Early Grave- book 4- Going to tie this one up.
Happy Ever After- was a great addition to the series. I'm sad to part with the series but I am happy with the outcome. The characters were on point. Since there is no more books in the series, I felt she could have wrapped that epilogue up a little better than she did.

The Keepsake - I absolutely loved this book. It was such a great addition to this series. It was one of those books that makes you think about it afterward....like really good movies do. I went to bed right after reading this book and I think I laid there for a half hour just putting things together about the story and making more sense of all the connections.
Frostbite - I loved this book too. I love the characters. It made me so wonderfully frustrated that two characters were not going to be together romantically. I have to keep reading this series, and those two better be together in the end! lol

Guilty Pleasure - I've wanted to read Khalid's book from when he was introduced - def. enjoyed it and loved Marty, she was def. a take no BS heroine...be interesting to see who the next book is about (nothing on her website currently to indicate another book) - but i'm thinking either Shayne or Khalid's brother
Judgment in Death - another episode of eve and rourke...mmm, need I say more! love these books because of the interaction between the two, even if i did want to beat them both senseless at one stage for their idiocy!

My Soul to Save 12/20/10
Was the book you read a good addition to the series? How much are you anticipating the next book? (If series is finished with this book) How do you feel now that the series has ended? This was a great addition to the series. I loved it. It was different than the first. I am really looking forward to the next book.

also started Lover Mine (book 8 in BDB) and A Duke of Her Own (book 6 in desperate duchesses)

Queen of Babble Gets Hitched 12/21/10
Was the book you read a good addition to the series? How much are you anticipating the next book? (If series is finished with this book) How do you feel now that the series has ended? It was a good addition to the series, but I wasn't as excited about this book as I was the first one. I am glad that this series is over. I don't know that I could make myself read another "ok" read.

ACRO (1/3)
Seduced by the Storm 12/20 - once I started reading this I tried to remember why I had drifted away from this series. These books tweaked my interest in paranormal. I love how Croft can write three different stories around one central even.
Taming the Fire -
Tempting the Fire -
BDB (1/1)
Lover Mine 12/22 - This book kinda made up for my anthipathy over V's book although I still haven't forgiven Ward. I can't wait for Payne's book because I'm eager about John being revealed as Darius or if she will do it
Hunger Games (1/1)
Mockingjay12/23 - This book definitely was a great finish. Through the trilogy I had so many "oh wow" and "Oh SH*&" moments. I mourn the end but I know to keep this going would have been bad for my psyche

I do NOT have the time, patience, inclination OR interest to answer discussion questions. I joined the challenge because I thought it would be fun to see how many series books I could finish in one month. NOT because of the discussion questions. So if you are trying to force me to do them, consider me OUT of the challenge.

Are for reading a genre, author or theme and DISCUSSING IT.
Instead of contacting me when i send you a private message; or asked you to answer the discussion questions in this thread, You ignored it. I find that not just childish but rude. When i could have simply deleted your posts and answer to you only later if you contacted me, but i respected you enough to point it out and wait for a response from you.

Go Fetch! - have to admit after pack challenge which I read a few months ago, I was ehh about this series, but when it came up as one of the books in the random book list, I fitured what the heck - ended up really enjoying it - much better than the first...will probably read the third

also finished up Bloodfever - I only read the first one this month, so the fact that I picked up the second one to read right away should say something! loved seeing Mac develop as a character and can't wait to read the third one, but must wait!
figured i'll post these 2 as well, although they weren't on my original list, but since they finish out a trilogy - Tommo and Hawk and Solomon's Song - both by Bryce Courtenay - I love these books because they are so rich in historical detail. T&H picks up where the Potato Factory left off and follows Tommo and Hawk Solomon to whaling hunting in the ocean off New Zealand to the Maori Wars in the 1850's. Solomon's Song sees the death of Tommo and then covers a period of 40+ years, as his daughter and grand kids grow up. My only complaint is that the last book just ends and I have so many questions unanswered...what happens to Hawk in Australia to Victoria (Tommo's Granddaughter) - but the richness of the detail made me not want to read in this instance becasue I knew just enough about the Gallipoli campaign from WW1 to know what a massacre it was.

3/3
Happy Ever After- was a great addition to the series. I'm sad to part with the series but I am happy with the outcome. The characters were on point. Since there is no more books in the series, I felt she could have wrapped that epilogue up a little better than she did.
At Grave's End- This was a good addition to the series. I really enjoyed it except for Tate and Cat. LOL! I think that the characters have remained true to character so far but I would like to see more evolving.
Destined for and early grave- Was not a good addition to the series. I really didn't enjoy it as much as the previous book. It made me re-think how much I want the next book to come out. Can she get back on track? Can some of the characters become more developed? We'll see.

finished up Twice Bitten - book 3 in Chicagoland Vampires by Chloe Neill - super happy that Ethan and Merit finally hooked up after 3 books and yet 2 chapters later I wanted to hit him upside the head for being such a man! Unfortunately, now I have to wait until May to see what happens, because it was left with him apologizing (like he should have) but her not making a decision...

A Duke of Her Own - since I started reading this series, i've wanted to see Villiers get his HEA and EJ didn't disappoint - Eleanor is def. a no-holds barred young lady, but not a simpering virgin like in so many other historicals, so knows what she wants and takes it...not sure if i'll read other books by EJ, but I enjoyed the series overall
Lover Mine - yay JM and Xhex - have to admit, while there were some books that were weaker in the series - overall the entire series was probably a 4.5-5 for me - loved JM and see the flashbacks to Tohr and Darius (I wonder if Tohr now knows that JM is D's reincarnation...) - can't wait to read Manny and Payne's book in April

ACRO (3/3)
Seduced by the Storm 12/20 - once I started reading this I tried to remember why I had drifted away from this series. These books tweaked my interest in paranormal. I love how Croft can write three different stories around one central even.
Taming the Fire 12/26 - I love this series and this book is probably my second fav of them all. BDSM is one of my guilty wishes and Trance is hugely dominant. What I like most though is the never ending weaving of everyone's story in each book.
Tempting the Fire 12/27 - wow wow wow again I'm wondering how I got distracted from this series. I would have definitely hated to see it end but #6 is due out in 2011!!!
