Sharon (fiona64) My website:

Sharon E. Cathcart

My POTO novel, In The Eye of The Beholder: A Novel of The Phantom of the Opera, is currently on the second page due to the release in eBook format of my latest (paperback coming soon), You Had to Be There: Three Years of Mayhem and Bad Decisions in the Portland Music Scene. If you go to "Interviews and Readings," there are links to podcasts of me talking about ITEOTB on Vicki Hopkins' "All Things Phantom" and doing a reading from it on Lori Osterman's "Poet."

Sharon (fiona64) Another fun site: The Phantom Project

Anne Myers is reviewing all of the POTO-related literature she can find. This started out on her masters' thesis about the evolution of a story, and has become something much larger. Her reviews are detailed and quite entertaining; I alternate between being grateful and horrified that there are 40 books between her current reading and my work (she is reading in chronological order).

Sandi *~The Pirate Wench~* (thepiratewench) | 413 comments Mod
Can you imagine reviewing all that?? very interesting Sharon!

Sandi *~The Pirate Wench~* (thepiratewench) | 413 comments Mod
This is great! Now anyone can find you all in one spot & check it all out! thanks ladies!

Ann | 30 comments Phantoons of the Opera Facebook page and tumblr page. Run by a cartoonist/graphic artist named Raphael. Lots of fun stuff there and pix. He recently worked on the promotions for the closing of the Phantom: Las Vegas show and made individual cards for all of the cast members.

Gemma | 277 comments I love Phantoons! He's got some great work, and hilarious!

I've been looking around for some Phantom pages lately, and while phantomoftheopera.com is still my favorite, I've found a new hangout on the POTO page on Fanpop.

Oh, and while I don't have an author blog (yet!), I'm almost to my one-year anniversary on Blogspot, and I've been doing "Phantom Fridays" over there for several months now. And I'm only one among many with a Pinterest page dedicated to Phantom! :)

Carrie Nees | 2 comments The Phantom of the Opera is so romantc yet the end leaves much untoled. Here is a book that fills in the blanks. Tells the next chapter of Phantom and Christine. New and old faces. More love then drama. Witch I do like about it. It puts such a clear view when reading it. If you wonder who put the rose and ring on head stone ? Wear did Phantom Roal and Christine go and do after they leave the opera house ? how did Christine die ? Read this book !!! It will answer every question you have and siprize you on each page

Kayla Lowe (kaylalowe) Hi all! I am so glad this thread was created. As a Phantom of the Opera enthusiast, I'm always looking for new spins on the classic tale to read. I'll definitely be checking out all of you guys' works!

I'm an author myself, and although the book I published is actually it a Christian Fiction Romance, it has phantom undertones interwoven throughout it. If you're ever in the mood, check it out and give me your thoughts as well.

It's great to meet all of you, and I look forward to talking to all of you more! (=^_^=)

You have nothing to be nervous about Sharon your books are amazing!

Lauren Gattos | 13 comments Lisa and Sharon,

Anne Meyers' The Phantom Project is phenomenal! She even reviews phantom video games. She's super friendly, and I kinda wish there was a blog on her site because corresponding with her is really entertaining. Don't be afraid to reach out to her as a phan!

Also, Sharon, I know this is five years later, but did she review yours? I know she's currently moving files from one server to another --I was wondering if it just hadn't been transferred yet to the new site.

Kayla Lowe (kaylalowe) Hi Lisa!

Yes, it's always great to meet fellow phans!

The name of my book is Maiden's Blush. There's a link to it on my author profile on here. If you happen to check it out, please let me know what you think. All feedback is always more than welcome (positive or negative). I wrote the book back when I was 16 and published it at 17, but I haven't really started actively promoting it until now that I've reformatted it for the Kindle. (=^_^=)

I'm currently in the process of rereading all my phantom books and seeking out new ones. What are your phantom POTO books, spin-offs, etc.?

Anne does have a blog linked to her Phantom Project site (under the link simply called "The Blog"), where you could comment on her (somewhat infrequent) posts. The more accessible way to talk to her is probably through her Tumblr, which she started about a year or so ago: http://ancientphantom.tumblr.com/

Lauren Gattos | 13 comments Whoops, thanks! Completely missed that :P Agh, I forgot that was her tumblr! She finds so much interesting content.

AT Demeter | 3 comments I too have written my own Phantom sequel, though it’s not published yet. For now, though I may change the title, it’s called The Phantom’s Angel.
Is there anyone here who has or will be writing a novel along these lines who can give me tips or be my Phan-fanfic companion?
And just so you get an understanding of my story, in a nutshell, it’s about the Phantom who very slowly comes to fall (and fall hard) for a woman named Emy who has double cleft lip and a vulnerable heart underneath her tough outside. They both experience a long journey of tenuous and stubborn affection made more complex by Erik’s complicated past and his emotional stability - and Emy’s deep spiritual faith in God that he’s up in arms against…. as well as her love that he thinks he doesn’t deserve.
