We also will conduct a formal Favorite Audios poll in the Spring at SOA.

"Speaking of Audio Goodreads group is trying to determine how many of AAR's Top 100 Romances are available in audio "
Why don't we list those we find that surprise us? And we can also make an educated guess as to the number on the Top 100 that are available on audio.
Sorry Melinda - I don't mean to take over your thread! Does this fit in with your original purpose?!
And here's a link to the poll:

MaryK - when I begin refining our group's bookshelf, I'll remember this! I plan to have a number of categories within our shelf.

After a closer, and I think complete look, there are 61 books from the top 100 available as audio books.
Three of which (all McNaughts) are in abridged formats only.

I'll start working on my list.

In saying that, please let me know if I have included on my list something that is not available in audio (or was at one time).

The only other two I found are:
Nalini Singh's Slave to Sensation ... in GERMAN!
Kleypas's Where Dreams Begin but not until Oct 2011
So neither really count. :)
I've decided that since Landor and Flosnick are the go to girls for historical romance right now that I can wait for my favorite Loretta Chase's!
I shudder at the thought of either one of them getting their hands (voices) on Rupert, Benedict or Sebastian!
Edited to add ... Or Hoyt's Prince series!

Those of us that have some of them could do a round robin type of deal maybe?

I hope that Lucy's story is a road trip type story .

I own several of these books and I have downloaded several from my local library. I just hate filtering through the titles only to find out it isn't offered in audio.

If you haven't checked it out yet here's a link:

This is definitely a book Audible, or any other publisher, needs to be searching for the digital rights to.

A few I haven't yet listened to & would love to hear your thoughts on are:
Open Season & To Die For by Linda Howard
What Happens in London by Julia Quinn
More Thank a Mistress by Mary Balough
Devil's Club by Georgette Heyer
Angel's Blood by Nalini Singh
Private Arrangements by Sherry Thomas

My two cents from your list...
Angel's Blood is, and will remain, an all time favorite audiobook.
I actually enjoyed the abridged version of Open Season more than the unabridged. Better narration IMHO and the abridgment was perfectly done.
I can now listen to and enjoy To Die For. I go in knowing I'm going to get an overly done Southern accent for Blair and just enjoy the humor, and Wyatt!

A few I haven't yet liste..."
You can also use the "search discussion posts" search box at the top of the page if you're looking for info on a particular book or author. I think I remember some Balogh and Heyer books being discussed at some point.

Where can I find Mr. perfect? Also Ransom and The Secret by Garwood is on you list but I can't find it. Similarly, I don't have a tape player, so anything available on tape is out for me.
I would love to listen to Judith Mcnaught. So many books that are on the 100 top books are missing in audio.
Your Top 10 Romance Audiobooks - and narrator counts, because if you liked the book but not the audiobook, it should not be included!! I'd say Top 100 but that would be a stretch for me.
Audiobooks from the AAR Top 100
it's morning and I'm not clear whether my brain means just a list of which in the new Top 100 have audiobooks, or which in the Top 100 are your favorite audiobooks. maybe later it will explain. I'll share.
