Beyond sat in the dim room. He could hear breathing. "Anyone there?" he hissed to the darkness.
((side note, Beyond is the second kid at Wammy house, he is B, the first kid, A, hung himself or something not long after arriving at Wammy house. Also, Beyond has the shinigami eyes and WAS a murderer, and may still be))

((so...he has encountered a shinigami?))

((no he was born with the eyes, hence the reason he named himself Beyond Birthday, his real name is unknown))

Near was looking over the criminal reports, and recent deaths and who caused them
"hmmm...Not many people have been killed lately."
He muttered...

Beyond Narrowed his eyes. He couldn't faces, so he couldn't see names. In truth he was wondering if it was his own breathing he heard. Was he cracking? Or just hearing things?
He stood, flipping his shaggy hair out of his eyes. "Well, no one told me not to explore," he said.
((another side note about B, he looks just like L. I didn't create him, he's in a novel lol))

((quick question, is this role play happening before the apperace of Kira? Or are we not gonna do that whole Kira thing?))

Beyond wandered out of the room, walking down the white halls. "The He**?" he wondered aloud. "Nobody in this building? What's with that?"

Mello sighed dramatically as he paced back and forth around the apartment, trying to gather his thoughts. The recent death toll had decreased dramatically, which threw him a loop. Could something have given the killer a scare? He took a bite out of the recently opened chocolate bar in his hand and started to follow this train of thought.

'Beep boop beep boop boop BEEP!'

Mello growled. He snapped his head backwards to glare at the redhead lounging in the yellow armchair in front of him.

"Ma-a-a-att..." he trotted over to him quietly, tore the gameboy out of his hands, and threw it against the wall.

"HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO THINK WITH ALL THAT NOISE? AND I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU NOT TO SMOKE INSIDE!"

((YAY! BTW, Ephona, Matt doesn't really fight back with Mello, he just sort of brushes it off...Because Mello is Mello, and he has firearms! ^-^))

"Gosh sorry," Matt spat, taking the cigarette out of his mouth and cradling it in his fingers.

((Lolz!))

"You should be," Mello took another large bite of chocolate.

"What's up?" He asked, hearing the ping of anger in his voice.

A crash caught Beyond's ears, even though it wasn't very loud.
"Hmmmmmmm some one is here..," he mumbled, fallowing the sound.
((YAY! Am I the only one who noticed that the rest of Matt's apartment complex looks like crap? just wondering lol))

Mello paused and finished his chocolate slowly before answering Matt. "Not many people have been killed lately.

Beyond stopped, looking around. "Hm, this place is kinda falling apart." He half smiled, tilting his head. "Kinda reminds me of L.A."
