Author or a teacher.

Sadly, I always dreaded that question.

I worked as a preschool teacher for years and I loved it!! Watching children grow and learn is amazing!! Unfortunately it doesn't really pay all that much here in Oregon so after my daughter reached an age where free daycare wasn't a benefit I decided to go back to school. I really wanted to get my masters in library and information science but now I am worried that with the economy and the amount of cut backs the job market will not be good when I'm done. I still want to be a librarian but I'm just not sure right now.

I am a senior this year and I still don't know what I want to do. A lot of my friends and family want me to be a nurse, but I don't think I could. Every time someone died or had a set-back it would crush me... I am too soft. I live in a small town, so there's really not many choices. I better start figuring out where I wanna go from here. (Wow, in 5 months I will be out of high school and in the real world. O.O EEP!)

wel, i wuldnt hate my job, nursing is quite intresting, plus, i wuldnt want to cook all day and then come home and have to cook, plus if im a nurse i can just buy all of the stuff to cook with:)

Lol....being a pastry chef sounds like it would be VERY fun and interesting. Its also in a field that isnt overpopulated so there should be plenty jobs (hopefully....you cant tell nowadays)

its a ton of fun, but there arnt as many jobs as u'd think, and culinary is becoming popular

I'm studying Law at university. I've always wanted to be a lawyer/attorney (I don't really understand the difference, in Belgium there's no such distinction), but I'm not so sure anymore. You can go so many different ways with a Law degree, there are several professions that interest me.

Id really like to be a teacher because i love little kiddies!!

My list of potential professions is terribly long... But right now I'm in love with the idea of beign a lawyer:-D

Anesthesiologist, Law Enforcement of some kind, or someone in Politics

I alway wanted to work as a bookseller and finally got that dream. I hope to become a author one day though.
