if this section is supposed to be a daily effort, it is so far woefully inadequate. i don t know if i spelled -woefully- correctly but i looked it up in my misspeller s dictionary and it wasn t listed there. im not going to dig through my webster s collegiate version. you guys are going to have to live with my spelling. i read my updike for 3 hours this am after a 1 hour morning bike ride, 7 am to 8 am and swear i feel better than most days. it s too hot to ride in the pms here. still listening to ANGELA S ASHES as read by frank mccourt, the writer, and i was worried that i wouldn t be able to understand his accent but no problem there. he had a great memory to dig all that stuff up from his passed and write it down. i remember very little from my boring childhood. maybe, that s a healthy sign. i don t think so. i always wanted to ask a therapists about my lack of childhood memories but i can t afford a therapist. maybe, i could find one on line to help me. does anyone have a website to recommend for me ? thanks..joe

Atomicgirl | 12 comments Can't bring myself to read Updie, but Angela Ashes is on my to-read list.

maybe your lack of childhood memories is a blessing. clean slate and all.

isn't commenting on this website a kind of therapy anyway?
