Mawgojzeta Joy: I see you gave #10 (Pseudoscience...) a "3" rating. I was wondering what you thought of it as a whole. If you have time to comment, that would be great!

The 100/50 challenge means that you get to participate in a challenge to surpass 50 books or 100 books in one year.

Pseudoscience was written by my professor. He's an interesting guy. Overall, the book is a bit different than I expected. Mostly, it's about the extraordinary, but showing that there are ways to disprove the claims. It talks about things like psychics, and how they use different techniques to pretend to be a psychic. Things like that.

Mawgojzeta Thank you. It looks very interesting, but my library did not have it (insert sad face here).

I bought it through Abebooks cause it's cheaper to get a used copy. He takes a stance to show how to disprove the claims, but at the same time shows that he obviously believes that some of them are true. He also has a website that shows a lot of articles and videos...

Hmmm... I really need to catch up on my reading. I guess that's the problem with reading 6 books at once!

11.) Once Dead, Twice Shy

I wasn't thrilled with this book. I was initially drawn to it because I never read a book about a reaper before. Had I been "reading" this book, I would have given up after a short while. However, I was listening to it right before bed each night, and even though the narrator reading the story was amazing... the book was not deserving of her.

200/50--My new REALISTIC goal is to read 50 books in one year."

I'm not even sure I will make it to 50 this year! So much is going on in my life that I haven't had enough time to read! :(

That's what I've been doing. I don't have much time to read lately though. :(
