Megan (itsmegan) If you hate Harry Potter then just leave the effing group. Your stupid, like seriously. No suprise you have a Twilight icon.

message 2: by Megan (new)

Megan (itsmegan) Ha, alright dude. Alright. I doubt you've even read a Harry Potter book and that's why your a hater. Why don't you just leave? There's no point in being apart of this group if all your going to do is make stupid comments. Like forreal.

message 3: by Megan (new)

Megan (itsmegan) You read all the books but you hate them? That makes sense.

message 4: by Margie (new)

Margie | 15 comments I'm new to Goodreads and your groups, but I would hope that you do not allow members to join other groups just so they can insult them. I joined a Harry Potter group because I enjoy the series and would like to talk to others with the same opinion. But for someone to start a group stating they hate what we enjoy and then come and post it in our group is so juvenile! I really hope Goodreads is more mature than this and does not allow this!

By the way....the above is what I sent to the moderators of Goodreads when I flagged your post!

message 5: by [deleted user] (new)

If Harry's a children's book, then Twilight is definitely a children's book.

message 6: by [deleted user] (last edited Feb 05, 2011 10:19AM) (new)

The fact that he made it isn't the fact that got me mad. its that he made one for about fifty other book series.

i am not going to post anymore since somehow i always get caught up in the posts that get sent to the mods.

message 7: by divya (new)

divya (sk8rpieninja) | 19 comments Amen to that

message 8: by divya (new)

divya (sk8rpieninja) | 19 comments Ohhh, he got you

message 9: by Margie (new)

Margie | 15 comments David makes me giggle!

message 10: by divya (new)

divya (sk8rpieninja) | 19 comments Lol, he actually thinks twilight is better than Harry Potter

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

And I quote from my sister... "Twilight is stupid. Harry Potter is cool."

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

If you hate Harry Potter, quit this group.

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

I will not reply to any more comments about how Harry Potter is stupid.

And as I said earlier: If you hate Harry Potter, quit this group. I am going to go post on another topic.

I will bet anything that you have never been to Harry Potter theme park. Well guess what I HAVE and there was barely any space to walk because there were so many people and (even though I didn't have to wait in it because my sister was on a Make a Wish trip) the lines for each of the rides were AT LEAST 3 hours long.

message 15: by Margie (new)

Margie | 15 comments Ladies & gentlemen, clearly David doesn't give a rats fart what we have to say about why we enjoy the Harry Potter series. David is just here to pick a fight til it's naptime. Please don't feed the troll! Let him go back to the dungeon where he belongs!

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

Thank you!! I need to stop reading new posts because they make me so mad i just have to say something. Note to self, Lily. Stop reading this topic.

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

David wrote: "And like i said,it comes with the purchase of a ticket to universal and islands of adventure."

No. I am talking about JUST the theme park. And I just posted again......crap

message 18: by Margie (new)

Margie | 15 comments A package of Bertie Bott's Every Flavored Beans if you caught the DH reference in my post. Time to turn this silly post around!

Margie wrote: "A package of Bertie Bott's Every Flavored Beans if you caught the DH reference in my post. Time to turn this silly post around!"

Yea! Beans for me!!

message 20: by [deleted user] (new)

Agreed. I don't understand why TWILIGHT lovers join this group when its a HARRY loving group.

message 21: by Margie (new)

Margie | 15 comments So Lily, which flavored bean is your favorite?

Eclipse toppped deahtly hallows. For (At Least) the tenth time, it did not. We (my family) went to 8 theaters before we found one that had enough seats for all of us.
People buy twilight books everyday. They buy Harry books too.
People see twilight in the theaters at least 7 times. Only the complete obsessers do. I have tons of friends that like Twilight, and they only saw the first movie in the theaters.
They stopped selling harry potter merchandise becuase no on wants it. Theme park much?
Twilight has a big display and sells merchandise everyday at toys r us,hot topiic, barnes and noble, borders, fye, walmart, target, and many more. Did you miss the entire display that Harry has?
People have read and bought the twilight book series more then harry potter. For (At Least) the tenth time, Harry is the 3rd most popular book (series) in the world.
People at least bbuy 4 harcoover boxsets, and 4 paperback sets a day in the top selling barnes in noble(which i work at)in my state. And that is 1 freaking Barnes Noble!!!

There are 50 states.

David wrote: "It did top deathly hallows.
I don't care what you say,it did."

Believe what you want.

message 28: by [deleted user] (new)

David wrote: "Harry potter only has a display in barnes and noble and a rather small on to."

Maybe in the one you go to, but I live right next to a Borders and it has a display. Besides, Twilight doesn't really have that big of a display either.

Margie | 15 comments Hey Lily, guess what I got my 9 year old daughter for Christmas? Two HP posters (which she asked for), a snitch necklace & earring set (which she asked for), Luna's radish earrings and a Butterbeer cork necklace (which she asked for), 3 different packages of HP silly bands and a package of Drubels Best Blowing gum! Oh, and I got both her and myself t-shirts for the premier back in November.

It's too bad there isn't any Harry Potter merchandise out there or even a market for it! Sigh!

I went to Universal this Christmas, like actually Christmas Day! So we ate at the Three Broomsticks which my whole family loved. :)

message 31: by [deleted user] (new)

David wrote: "And i thought you werent going to post anymore."

I've got to prove you wrong. Harry is (if not better, since that's opinion) more popular than Twilight. Plus I can't uphold my promises.

message 32: by [deleted user] (new)

David wrote: "I don't understand why you retards can't see past you're own gay fantasy world.
I'm not going to stress myself out talking to mindless idiots who like are in love with a childrens book."

Yes. Twilight is completely real and not a fantasy at all. There are no vampires or werewolves in Harry at all.

Who are you kidding?

Oh, how awesome! Did you have a chocolate cauldron? Those sound amazing!!!

message 35: by [deleted user] (new)

No, but we had Pumpkin juice and Butterbeer. (If you ever go, don't get butterbeer, it's disgusting.) It was pricey.

Twilight does have posters of shirtless men.

message 37: by [deleted user] (new)

And Stephen King is a great writer.

Are you sure about that Lily? David seems to be the only person who happens to have the definitive answer to everything in this post. ;)

Click on it, and you will see a POSTER.

And this would be the article it came with... http://www.rtvchannel.tv/robert-patti... I doubt they use fake fan-made posters in real articles.

message 41: by [deleted user] (last edited Feb 05, 2011 12:23PM) (new)

That makes no sense. Plus my boyfriend is a complete Harry freak. And ummm he's going out with me.

message 42: by [deleted user] (new)

Have you not noticed that he has been using very offensive words this entire discussion?

Not weird. Realise that Isaac enjoyed it too.

message 48: by [deleted user] (new)

Okay...Twilight MOM? I am 14 and I have friends that like Twilight but I cant picture a single one of them liking it when they are older.

message 49: by [deleted user] (new)

*Rolls eyes* I am sorry and don't mean to insult you (unlike the way that you mean to insult all Harry lovers) but that is just stupid.

message 50: by [deleted user] (new)

Harry and Twilight are different things, and Harry is much more of an adult book than Twilight is. Twilight is targeted towards teenage girls with a freakish obsession for romance novels, while Harry is targeted towards all ages (kids and adults alike.)
