100 Books Challenge discussion

Please post nominations here for our June group read. Start date will be June 20. Please nominate a book from the list of 100 books on which our group is based that has not already been a group read. A list of previous & current group reads is below. All threads for previous group reads remain open, in case you are reading one of them now and want to make comments.

Nominations will end on May 23 at midnight. If needed, a poll will be up for about a week after nominations end.

I nominate - Sabriel by Garth Nix

Sabriel sounds like a good book...I 2nd the nomination.

Has mixed ratings. Definitely worth a read I think. I have been so lazy today. Just vegging out in front of the TV. Sigh. I could sure use some energy. LOL

ahhhh!!! 5 of my favourites are up there!!! but have not read room with a view...so I think I all nominate that!!!

BTW, I haven't read A Room With a View either. :-)

Am still camping, but using my MIFI briefly.

Nominations are closed (ended on May 23). Since only one book was nominated, we don't need a poll.

Our June read will be Sabriel by Garth Nix. Before this list I'd never even heard of this one. So I'll see if I can get an ebook copy or get it from the library.

Me too ... never heard of it before this list. But now that I've read the description it sounds interesting.

I think so, too. It's available on my Kobo for $1.99. I'll probably get it. Hubby has the Kindle and won't give it back. LOL
