SDPL Staff Reading Program 2011 discussion

For some of you, completing the challenge for the Staff Online Avid Readers Program (SOAR) will be no problem. You have plenty of time to read, you read quickly, or you have an opportunity to listen to audiobooks for hours at a time each week (yes, audiobooks count!!). But in addition to simply reading books, you will write a review, contribute to discussions, or recommend additional books for this summer's reading program.

For many of you, the reading challenge for this year's Staff Reading Program will truly be a challenge.

All of you who complete the reading program deserve our congratulations. This topic thread is devoted to messages and comments from branch managers or supervisors, thanking you for your contribution of time and support.

Whenever a prize is given, branch managers or supervisors can use this topic thread to congratulate a staff member for completing the program. When time permits, they might comment on something in particular a staff member has written or done that is above and beyond the call of duty.
