WaterShip Down

Narnia

Nicole Kathryn Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr. But I'd say they're pg-13.

message 4: by Connor (new)

Connor Kinkade (connork) | 1324 comments Yeah. I don't really care for them much either. I do like Eragon though.

message 5: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Kathryn The middle of the books get kind of boring, but then get better near the end. I wish he'd hurry up and write the fourth one.

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

I know right?

message 7: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Kathryn Exactly! It's been what... almost three years?

message 8: by Connor (new)

Connor Kinkade (connork) | 1324 comments I was disappointed in Brisingr. I didn't like how things were resolved with Sloan and Eragon's father and such. I didn't finish it. I was kind of angry, but I might try again sometime.

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't remember much but I almost barfed at the begining.

message 10: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Kathryn Yeah, with those sick, sick, priests guys. The end of Brisingr was somewhat lacking, I think, as in he built up 800-something odd pages for something completely unsatisfactory. If he ever comes out with the fourth one, though, you should finish it.

message 11: by Connor (new)

Connor Kinkade (connork) | 1324 comments I guess I should.

message 12: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Kathryn Has anyone read the Warrior Heir series by Cinda Williams Chima?

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

no. is it good?

message 14: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Kathryn They're amazing! Here's the link to the first one:

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

interesting. I should read it.

message 16: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Kathryn All three of them are really good.

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

Now I have too many books to read.

message 18: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Kathryn Haha! How fast do you usually read?

message 19: by Connor (new)

Connor Kinkade (connork) | 1324 comments We should read them in this group sometime. They sound good.

message 20: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Kathryn Yeah. I haven't read them in a year or two.

message 21: by Connor (new)

Connor Kinkade (connork) | 1324 comments There are so many books to read and so little time.

message 22: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Kathryn Eh. I'm hoping I've got another 90 years or so. ;)

message 23: by Connor (new)

Connor Kinkade (connork) | 1324 comments Me too :D

message 24: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Kathryn That should be about.... a quarter of the time I need. :P

message 25: by [deleted user] (new)

lol. I usually read books I like quickly and books I don't slowly, and I keep leaving it at school.

message 26: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Kathryn Lol! Same here. But usually I just quit reading books I don't like and never finish them. I keep telling myself I will finish them later. And I will! Eventually...

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

same here. only one book I will never read again. It's not worth it.

message 28: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Kathryn Which book is it?

message 29: by [deleted user] (new)

The second Warriors book. I don't remember what its called.

message 30: by Connor (new)

Connor Kinkade (connork) | 1324 comments Fire and Ice.

message 31: by [deleted user] (new)

yeah! how'd you know?

message 32: by Connor (new)

Connor Kinkade (connork) | 1324 comments I looked up the series recently.

message 33: by [deleted user] (new)

oh.

message 34: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Kathryn I only got through like twelve of those books even though there's almost like forty.

message 35: by [deleted user] (new)

that. is. a. LOT!!!

message 36: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Kathryn The twelve or the forty?

message 37: by [deleted user] (new)

forty.

message 38: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Kathryn Hahaha I know right? And they're still making more.

message 39: by [deleted user] (new)

REALLY???!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! wowness...

message 40: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Kathryn Exactly! I gave up on those a loooong time ago when I found out there was never going to be a climax for the series.

message 41: by [deleted user] (new)

I gave up on the second book. I liked the first one, but I couldn't get halfway through the second one and no one was making me, so I quit.

message 42: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Kathryn Yeah. They just go on and on and on and on...... Have you ever read Fablehaven?

message 43: by [deleted user] (new)

nope. bye!

message 44: by Connor (new)

Connor Kinkade (connork) | 1324 comments Does anyone else like any books they want to share? I hate to see only three people posting all the time. We don't mean to leave anyone out just so you know.

message 45: by Connor (new)

Connor Kinkade (connork) | 1324 comments Well, we seem to rule the place. We are the only three that comment.

message 46: by [deleted user] (new)

yeah.

message 47: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Kathryn Yeah, I suppose we are.

message 48: by Connor (new)

Connor Kinkade (connork) | 1324 comments Lets get back on topic. I'm going to start deleting posts that are off topic after this one. Let's start goofing around in the chat topic or something (sorry to spoil the fun, but I want other people to join the group and not feel left out because of our endless babble).

message 49: by [deleted user] (new)

message 50: by Connor (new)

Connor Kinkade (connork) | 1324 comments I do too.
