Okay, I know I am so very late on this. Forgive me. We had spring break, sick kids, family in town and my brain is dizzy. I'm back in the saddle now and jonesing for some good reading time.

So, this is how we are going to do it this time since we are nearly in April and would be doing nominations for June in a week or so. I'm going to take 12- 15 nominations and out of those the top two vote getters will go for May. THEN Ill repost the remaining ones and the top two vote getters will go for June. Does that make sense?

If you've never nominated a book before please refer to the thread in the Group Read Chat folder about how this works before nominating.

Thanks,
Tera

Shay | 284 comments The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons. I'm in a historical fiction mood and Sarah said it was great and it's worked its way down my TBR pile. So, I need some motivation to push it back up to the top.

We read this book in November. If you'd like to nominate another book let me know and I'll add it to the poll.
Thanks,
Tera

Elizabeth (Alaska) I voted for my own nomination, but if it looks like one of the others that I like is too close to not making it, I might change my vote. ;-)

Veronica (veraj121) | 291 comments I read Island Beneath the Sea in January ( beautiful book) and Cane River a few years ago. Feast of the Goat and Discovery of Witches are on my must read list.

I vote for Feast of the Goat.

Elizabeth (Alaska) bumping this thread.

Tera, I see that you closed the poll, but I don't see an announcement of the reads. Were you planning a run-off for the second book in May? Perhaps, you could just go with the top 2 as listed (Moloka'i and A Discovery of Witches) and allow the second book of the tie (The Postmistress) to be the first book in June. If you were to do this, then the remaining books in the poll could be put up for the group to decide on the 2nd book for June.

Elizabeth that's a BRILLIANT idea. I love it. If those that nominated those books are okay with it then I'd like to roll that way. I will make a second poll for the second book of June now.
