Dana (DanaRahim) | 4 comments Is it beacause it has a very different vampire romance story? OR Is it because Stephenie Meyer has explained it so well? OR Is it becaue it contains everything you need like horror, romance, action etc.? Please post your opinion! ;)

Rana (ranareda) | 3 comments The idea is already consumed many times, but stephanie just used simple word and beautiful metaphors.

Kayla Duff Yes. Though unfortunately, that's also why some people hate it. The most common answer I have heard is that she uses descriptions too much and her writing is bad. I, for one, have never understood how someone can think her writing is bad.

Krystal (krystal_f) | 1609 comments I can only speak for myself and for me I love the Twilight Saga so much because it's a good love story, and it's an interesting love story. Even for the book sin the series that I didnt like (Eclipse..ugh) I still had to read all the way through because I HAD to find out what happened in the end. I loved the series, I loved the story, and all the twists and turns along the way!

Also I think another thing that's made it extremely popular is the fact that the actors who play the characters (mainly Jacob) are gorgeous! Love it!

Dana (DanaRahim) | 4 comments Why didnt u like Eclipse Krystal?

message 8: by Ashley (new)

Ashley (ashleymabus) | 5 comments I think Twilight is popular because of the love story. For me its because of that and the horror isn't that scary.

Krystal (krystal_f) | 1609 comments Dana wrote: "Why didnt u like Eclipse Krystal?"

To make a long story short my dislike for Bella was at its height in Eclipse. Looking back I can see why stephenie made her so weak and naive, because when she became a vamp I saw a COMPLETE 180 change in her, but during Eclipse I didnt like many things about this heroine. And thats just the short story..you can read my full review of the book for the full story. My Eclipse Book Review

Oh ! I understand....Even my dislike for Bella was at its height in Eclipse...bt the book as a whole was fyn 4 me...

message 11: by Laxmi (new)

Laxmi | 14 comments It is because stephanie has explained things in very deep way how a vampire/human feels when they fall in love with each other. While reading you'll feel if she (stephanie) is a vampire! you find yourself in some other world..The way she has explained Edward is AWESOME!! She has kept both - Love and Friendship! I love this...Love Twilight!!

message 12: by Lourdes (new)

Lourdes B. (yabookslave) Hopeless Romantic. Stephenie Meyer got me there. :)

its pretty much everything i would want from a book piled into one... horror, fantasy, romance, comedy, suspense and sadness- Stephanie Meyer did a fantastic job!
plus vampires are pretty darn hot ;)

message 14: by Lucy (new)

Lucy (runswithflyingdolphins) For me these were the books that got me into 'Paranormal Romance' and I think thats with alot of people too. Its just so well written aswell, I like how everything is explained really clearly..

Great point Dhaval! I noticed how close the family was and loved that too.

I know, I've read them all four tims each and i'm planning to read them again. I just love everyhting about them, I would never give these books to a second hand store!! :O

message 17: by yomi (new)

yomi | 5 comments for me its because, you know it gives you something to dream of, like love, like edward, having someone who will love you more than himself, or like edward-bella-jacob,, having two (HOTT!!)guys after you,, its putting you in a different world when youre reading and its what most of us want, a journey to another world,,

Well said, Yomi! Totally agree with you. Also, Edward is a little like a super hero in that he is virtually invincible with super "non-human" strenth! Having someone like that love you is HOT too! Edward can protect Bella from just about anything!

Shivani Singh | 46 comments well said dawn edward's love for bella is increadible and its a super duper romentic love story.edward is the hero which i liked since harry potter.

message 23: by Kirby (new)

Kirby | 12 comments well, this may not be a popular opinion, at least in this group, but I think that part of the reason so many love it is the same as why so many hate it...you hear people complain about how...shapeless Bella is, but I think that it's this very lack of personality that allows the reader to sort of BECOME Bella and be a part of the story. I think that the description of the menial tasks of Bella's day also enhances the feeling of inclusion. and, of course, so many people love a "doomed love" story that doesn't end as horribly as Romeo & Juliet.

message 24: by Jameelah (new)

Jameelah L | 22 comments I think mainly because of the love plot and the fact that with that they didn't over do it there was some tension and action which makes it all so very interesting.

Jacqueline Moore | 7 comments the plot sucks

i like this opinion. I have to think about it

message 27: by Emm (new)

Emm (emmatebby) | 14 comments My opinion would be some girls like the idea of being loved forever, and you know un dying love, and some of us like the bad guy being the leading man? accept for the fact edward is not bad... he's a vampire yes but he's just a very polite guy, all in all i think we like this story going on, yes there's so many stories like this now, but when twilight came out there was'nt many so it was sort of unique to us. Something new, and some say stephanie stole the idea from Vampire diaries... but when you compare the two and the things that happen there's alot of differences so i dont think she stole it. Theres alot of bad things people say about this story, but its not gonna change my opinion cause i dont care what other people think... everyone has a opinion so. :)

never mind......just a rumor....i think...i'm not sure...apparently someone had the exact same consept as her 'bout how a vamp falls in love with a human and have a half vamp/ half human child and they get married...etc.

message 35: by Andrea (new)

Andrea | 3 comments Just my opinion on why this series is stuck to me forever. It portrays a love, that risk taking, rare whole heart and soul kind of of love. Its that kind of love that not everyone gets to have, and everyone would like to have. Ironically I have this going on with me now(hes not a vampire...bummer), I know there is a chance he could hurt me, but I know that he won't. He is different than the rest, as Edward was. He sees me as being different than the rest as Bella was.

Danielle The Book Huntress (gatadelafuente) I love this series because I love the emotional story and writing. I connected with the story line and the intensity of the emotions in it. I can't put these books down when I read them.

ᑕᗢᗝᒪḰᓮᖙᖇᗢჯ123 ☆*・゜゚・*\(^O^)/*・゜゚・*☆ Cool (coolkidrox123) i love the way its written. twilight is the first book i read about vampires and romance. usally i read about adventure, and action and fantasy and once in a while sci-fic so this was a big difference from all the other books i have read. It has an almost perfect balance of supernatrual and romance. and i love the love triangle.
every book was different:

twilight: a human falling for a vamp
new moon: werewolf falling for a human who is the sworn enemy of the vamp
eclipse: the enemys have to fight together to stop young vamps bent with the sole perpous of killing bella 'cause she is the love of edward
breaking dawn: bella gets married, she gets a hybrid baby, and we get to see jacob's point of view, aka we get to learn more about werewolves

❄️ Propertea Of Frostea ❄️ Bitter SnoBerry ❄ (berrynumey) Well maybe because it's written so well. I love the metaphors and personification of it, especially New Moon. :)

message 39: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah I like that too Numey. It makes the series more relatable.

message 40: by Renee (new)

Renee I don't know, it just did, like Harry Potter.
