I think any relationship has to come from common parts; like intrests, likes in movies-music-books, tastes in food, taste in style. And to find the "one" is a grand thought, but I have been proven that your "one" is probably the least expected person. My "one" is my best friend Joey. We were friends for 4 years before we ever got serious, and now were happy. I wont say its like this for everyone, but dont over look anyone.
As for pre arranged marriages, I think that if you can like someone, to have mutual respect for someone you will eventually care and possibly love them. I do not think they are right, but in some of them they actually find a great love hidden under again friendship.

I knew a girl who's parents arranged her marriage when she was 15. Her dad was arranging for them to come to america from india. She had access to his bank accounts because she was his only child. *they were pretty loaded by the way*
She withdrew as much as she could every week since she found out. when she was 18, she and her boyfriend ran off together and got married. *she had taken thousands of dollars from him.*
Her dad was so upset he ended up in the hospital. It was hilarious and sad at the same time but at least she didnt have to marry someone she didn't love or even know.
