I just wanted to talk about this somewhere. We went out to Springfield on Friday. While we were there we stopped at Borders for their closing sale.
Now, I am a Barnes & Noble person, through and through. I worked for B&N for about 8 years and I loved it. So I've NEVER purchased anything from Borders and have only walked into one once.
But let me tell you...it was sad. It was super depressing to walk into the store and see how empty it was. The employees seemed pretty defeated as well. They were even selling ladders, bookshelves and other fixtures. It was this barren wasteland where all things 'book' go to die.

It made me sad.
Like I said, I just needed to talk about it...
