southpaw285 I have put together a very simple spreadsheet for the The Complete Idiot's Guide to the Ultimate Reading List. A copy of the link is below. A few words of caution if I may:

(1) In going thru some of the chapters here online yesterday, I discovered that I've accidentally left some of the books off of the list. I think there are about 40 of them...not exactly sure how many.

(2) Titles are listed in alphabetical order, however, titles beginning with "The", "A", etc, are listed under "T", "A", etc. I shouldn't have done it this way and meant to go back and change it but never did.

(3) I'm not sure how accurate the "published date" is. If you are looking for a book with a specific publication year, be sure to double check the information here on Goodreads. Please don't take my word for it. I've already found discrepancies in this area.

(4) It contains my "read" dates. You will want to save the document and then clear all of that information out, for your own personal use.

I hope the list is helpful. If you have any questions, or need help with the list, just send a pm.

ETA: This Excel spreadsheet is no longer available. Due to recent information I have come across, I am no longer allowed to share this spreadsheet. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me directly.

Gini | 30 comments Great spreadsheet! Just one note:

17 A Game of Thrones: Song of Fire and Ice #1 Novik Naomi 2006

The author is George R.R. Martin.

southpaw285 Uh oh...Okay, I got that one fixed. Thank you for letting me, Gina.

If anyone notices anything else, just let me know and I will fix it.

southpaw285 I just thought of something else. We may be using different versions of the book, so if you come across a book not listed on the spreadsheet, please let me know and I will add it.

I'm going back through my book now, along with the bookshelf here, to figure out what all I've left off the list. That will take a little time though, and someone else may notice it before I do.

I love marking off lists, too. Though I have to say that, having finally read through this list I have to question some of their choices and some of their omissions!

Sunflower | 33 comments Great idea! Much better than putting ticks in my copy of the book, which is what I've been doing up till now.

This is great. Thanks southpaw.

Just wanted to let you know that Evergreen by Belva Plain is not on the spreadsheet (it's one of the popular fiction books).
