So, do y'all want to do a nomination and vote this month or would you like to try out another user selection?

Katt_goddess | 269 comments I'm game either way since I do roll through here often enough for either choice. That said, I'm still posting my nomination now so that I -don't- forget later.

Laurie Notaro - "The Idiot Girl and the Flaming Tantrum of Death : Reflections on Revenge, Germophobia and Laser Hair Removal" .

Mary (med401) | 234 comments My reading schedule is full up right now so I'll probably only have time for the botm if it's really tempting or something I'm reading already. My next two are Dead Reckoning and Cleopatra: A Life, closely followed by Betrayal at Lisson Grove. I think Sookie (dead reckoning)is the best fit for our club so that'll be my nomination.

Edit: I forgot Sixkill. I'll be getting that as soon as my mom finishes it. Yup, and then there's the other three books I need to finish. I bit off more than I can chew this month.

Not to be a total bitch here but are we gonna decide something soon? Some of us have to order online ya know. I'd like to be able to order my books together.
:)

Mary (med401) | 234 comments Nope, thats not being a bitch. Not to me anyway. We have to wait until JK has time since glodsen(the other mod) has disappeared as far as I know.

Katt_goddess | 269 comments Glodson was snackrificed to his littlest spawn in order to grant her his brains before any other little spawn spawn...

I assumed he was busy but I had no idea there was spawn involved. At least you're here.

I'm good either way, since everyone seems slightly busy with life or other books I say we do another user selection. Makes it less complicated for Jk now that she has a job and what not.

Mary (med401) | 234 comments Is this book club dead now? JK's been on site but not posted here, so I have to wonder. Or are we just taking a break for a month?

I have no idea.

message 14: by Katt_goddess (new)

Katt_goddess | 269 comments I think this might be an inadverant month-off. ;)

I know I still float through but don't have much to contribute at this time to much of anything. o.O

message 15: by Jingai (new)

Jingai | 56 comments Sorry everyone, but I've been busy of late.
I really would like to try and get a July BOTM
though.
I'll do my best to be here at least once a week
to check up on things.

Politics is time consuming. :(

I would be truly sad if the site was dead. I know Jk had been busy with work and what not. I say if everyone wants we can do an informal July one. We can make a thread for suggestions and then vote, although it wouldn't be a private vote since none of us can make polls.

message 18: by Mary (new)

Mary (med401) | 234 comments I'd like to continue too. I have skipped a couple books but mostly I've been reading along here. I'll continue to do so if I can get the book and I'm interested. I have no problem with people knowing which book I vote for.
