Writing, exercise, and my hubby are my three big stress relievers. I'd be neurotic without them.

How about you?

Deanne Reading, exercise & my hubby are mine, too. Although, I try to do them seperately!

Shawn For me, knowing when to write and when not to write is tough. You WANT to write all the time...but sometimes if you just write because you have the time then you can risk writing poorly.

My husband is both helpful and stressful when it comes to my writing. Sometimes he suggests things I didn't want to change or consider...of course, in the end, he's usually at least partly right. My twin sister however is my biggest help. She really picks up the ball when I drop it. As I write I send her each chapter and she helps me fine tune it. She's probably my biggest supporter. :)

Marsha | 4 comments Reading, writing, cooking, exercising, and my family.

As much as I adore my family and spending time with them is so much fun, I find it hard to have time to write as a stay at home mom - though I think that will change starting this fall when my youngest son will enter 1st grade and be at school all day. When my husband gets home from work, I feel guilty typing away on something because I want to be with him and the kids as a family (it seems we have so little time to do that before the kids are grown and don't want you around so much anymore). So, I guess my family is somewhat like a coin - the two opposing sides of stress reliever and stress inducer (when I have something that is just itching to come out of my head and onto the paper and I don't have the time to write).

Boy could I use your sister! My husband is my idea guy. I like to verbally bounce things off him, which helps me organize my thoughts. He's also my "whimp" gage.

I hear you Marsha! My kids are home with me this summer, and an hour here and there of writing time isn't cutting it. I need at least two hours for the creative juices to start flowing. How about you?
