The History Book Club discussion

For those of you who would like to see and hear some authors describe their works and what makes them tick. I thought that I would open up a folder to add threads which pertain to writers who folks here may be interested in. I will let them explain.

Here is a set of threads which will be dedicated to listening to authors describe their works, themselves, what makes them tick, books they care about and/or made a difference in their lives etc. For these threads, I will try to find video presentations and watchable interviews.

This thread is dedicated to authors whose last name begins with P.

How about Marcel Proust?

Who in the group has read In Search of Lost Time (all seven books no less)? Here this grouping has them combined in a six-pack. There was even a twelve volume English edition.
