I'm glad you liked them Charlotte :)
A favourite eh?
Which one is it, if you don't mind me asking?
I've had a lot of people tell me that they love the 'Sepia Sunset' and 'Waiting...' ;)
My husband has asked me to make him a painting now lol ;)

I'm a new member - writer/artist/editor from Toronto. I'm just thrilled with this group; I've been wanting to share blogs with other writers. I'm a care-giver for my adult daughter who lives with me.
Anyhow, my blog is http://www.wordslut.typepad.com/blog. (My work has been called erotic, which may be true. I don't think writers who write about life need to be categorized in this way.)
Looking forward to sharing with the group,
Janice

I like your colors. I know what you mean by a jumble of things. Until I figure out what I'm doing, I just enjoy doing it.

I'm new to Goodreads, and found this group a few minutes ago. I was looking for a place for blog discussions because I love blogging and have recently started a new blog: healthylivingindia.blogspot.com
I would really appreciate it if someone checked it out and gave me some feedback :)
It's a blog about , well, living a healthy life. I recently lost about 10 kilos and my friends would constantly ask me how I did it, so my partner and I decided to blog about it!
Hope to get a response!

Hi Again Everyone! I have gotten a lot of emails with very positive things to say about this blog, and I would like to start really filling the calendar now. I have my first bloggers scheduled for the first full week in April! J
A few notes after talking with other authors…
a. If you do not already have a critique partner, but are interested in blogging, please send me an email stating the genre you are wishing to promote, and the genres you are willing to read. I will try to pair you with another author by genre. I have already begun a list!
b. You don’t have to do both the author and the book posts, just one is fine.
c. It does not have to be a lot of extra work, especially with the book posts. Just come up with your creative take on the story, and write out your thoughts. I think it would be great to add to my websites something like: Published Author ____ said, “ blah, blah, blah” about my book, “Title” J
Here is the original post explaining the blog idea again….
There are two different kinds of posts for author pairs to consider.
“The Book” posts:
Here Author A and Author B would exchange books or stories they are promoting. In one post Author A would review [using term loosely:] or reflect upon or critque or exam or study Author B’s story.
I see the “reviews/reflections” as more in depth or with an angle postings. As writers, we see writing differently. So here Author A could be creative talking about whatever stands out after reading the story like use of descriptions, or types of characters, or wealth of knowledge to be gained through the text, etc. Again, be creative and no summary of the story - the blurb will be enough. Next post, Authors would switch roles. Post is formatted: 1) cover and blurb of Author B's story, 2) whatever Author A wants to tell us about Author B’s book, and 4) Author A and Author B Names and 3 website links each.
“The Author” posts:
These would look like “interviews” or just conversations. Again, be creative and more personal. For example, maybe chat about a very specific topic of writing or interview about the subject matter the author dealt with. Post is formatted: 1)Author A, “ “ / Author B, “ “, and then again 2) covers, and 3)Author A and Author B Names and 3 website links each.
I see various advantages to doing this blog. Authors get a “review” of sorts to use excerpts from in their marketing. Free reads - we all know that authors are avid readers and sometimes poor! LOL! Of course, marketing for both. This blog gives both authors another chance to post on yahoo groups without using the traditional promo format, send event invitations and bulletins on MySpace, or talk about the experience on your blog, etc... With all authors involved advertising when they are going to be there, this should build quickly.
Email me at howell (dot) kiki (at) gmail (dot) com with the pair of authors names, email addresses, types of posts doing, and date wishing to post. If you do not know another author to ask, email me with what you wish to post along with the genres you would be willing to work with, and I will try to pair authors up.

It's challenging to take a photo every single day, but I'm having fun with it. It makes me look more closely at the world I walk around in & by every day.

Welcome to Shimizu San's Book Blog. It largely deals with the written word, musings, ramblings, observations and the odd essay type rant on a certain book I may be fascinated about the time :)
I've started a blog about the writing process- documenting the steps to publication :)
I just started sooo it's still a little new to me.
Here it is:
