The Hobbit and The Fellowship of the Ring
Not much. I know, but I am intending to finish the Lord of the Rings trilogy--soon.

On my bookshelf at home though I have quite a few of the histories of middle earth from volumes 1-8 so got a few more to get to complete my collection :) I've also got The Atlas of Middle-Earth which I've had a peek at but haven't read it thoroughly yet :)
So as you can tell....I'm obsessed with Tolkien haha.
WOW!!!!!!! That's a lot! I need to read all those one of these days. Are you planning on reading the histories of Middle Earth?

The Silmarillion was amazing. I read it in seventh grade, but since I'm older now and I know things, it should make more sense when I read it again...

Agree with you about the Silmarillion, Becca. First time I read it I was like 14/15 and really struggled getting through it. Re-read it twice since then and enjoyed it more each time.

But you're not too lazy to read The Hunger Games and Harry Potter? I'm offended. :(

I'm going to re-read The Lord of the Rings this year as part of my fantasy reading (I'm tearing through heaps of good fantasy series).

You could join my Sci-fi fantasy group. We have done so much reading. I haven't been active lately though. I've kinda turned it over to Jonathan and Xdyj. Xdyj isn't in this group so you probably wouldn't know him.

Yeah, I should read it again before the movie comes out. I haven't read Lost Tales yet.

All of those except Children of Hurin. :) Love the first two way too much! :D
Yes! I love the first two too, lol. Smith of Wootton Major wasn't as good as the rest of the stuff in my opinion.

I have also read Leaf by Niggle, Smith of Wooten Major, Farmer Giles of Ham, Roverandum and The Father Christmas Letters.
Furthermore I have read Concerning Fairy Tales, The Homecoming of Beortnoth, Finn and Hengest, Beowulf: The Monsters and the Critics, Gawain and the Green Knight, Pearl and Sir Orfeo.
Not bragging or anything ;o)

The Fall of Arthur
"
I have never come across that one. Translation of the Morte d'Arthur (etc) or a Tolkien penned Middle English version of the story?

i'm always reading the silmarillion, that is just such a long winded book. i really didn't think about how many book's of tales of middle earth there are. but before i die i hope to read them all, but sadly like most only The Hobbit and the LOTR trilogy.

Now I've also read Tales from the Perilous Realm and am going through Quenta Silmarillion. Not really a book, or even by Tolkien, but I started a Quenya Course last year which I didn't get far with but which I'm going to finish during the next months.
