Pamela(AllHoney) (pamelap) | 14527 comments I love the warrior hero. Doesn't matter if he's a highlander warrior, medieval warrior, viking warrior, native american warrior or even a modern day warrior. The warrior hero is usually portrayed as an alpha and many times is "tamed" by the heroine. Do you have a favorite warrior hero?

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 21897 comments Oh, yes, Pamela! Wulfgar in The Wolf and the Dove by Kathleen E. Woodiwiss was a great warrior. The ultimate medieval invader. I just re-read that book last year and it still holds up. It didn't hold me spellbound like it did the first time I read it b/c I knew the story; however, it was still wonderful. (IMHO) I wouldn't mind listening to it on audio; but, alas, my library doesn't carry it.

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 21897 comments I haven't read Marsha Canham's Robin Hood series, but I'm thinking about starting it. The first one is free now for Nook.

Through a Dark Mist (Robin Hood, #1) by Marsha Canham

Pamela(AllHoney) (pamelap) | 14527 comments I read that one years ago. Loved it.

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 21897 comments A lot of people talk about #4 as the stand-out in the Robin Hood series, though, so it must be really good.

message 8: by Pamela(AllHoney), Fairy Godmother (new)

Pamela(AllHoney) (pamelap) | 14527 comments #4 My Forever Love was great. I don't think I even knew it was part of the Robin Hood series when I read it. The hero is a defrocked templar and stays mainly brooding in his castle. He's really a tortured soul. But I loved it.

Anna | 42 comments Hi everyone, I'm Spanish so excuse my English.
I subscribe Wulfgar hero.
I wanted to add contemporany warriors, such us the Troubleshooters from Suzanne Brockmann, for example, the The Unsung Heroor Into the Night.

Pamela(AllHoney) (pamelap) | 14527 comments Anna, your english is fine. and yes, Brockmann's Troublshooter are some good warriors. I got burnt out on them though and stopped reading. Too much going on and was getting confusing.
