lolita - several ways you can do cross-offs...if the book you read is by a goodreads author (will say next to their name) you can cross off a shelf; if books are a certain amount of pages - you can cross off shelves

also, if you hit shelves that were in the last quarters popular list, but not in this one, you can cross off shelves...there is another thread just called Shelf-a-thon 9 which explains most of this

Okay, let's do it.

Everybody go ahead and cross off that shelf with 3 dashes. "own---not-read"

In case you haven't been keeping up with the scuttlebutt, Goodreads is eliminating all shelves with multiple dashes, like this one, so you will no longer be able to hit this shelf. There aren't any books on it anymore. Just go ahead and cross it off now.

If you had already crossed that shelf off because you had legitimately read a book from that shelf, take a free cross-off from a different shelf.

Of course, all I can see is what you're posting to this thread which looks like you've got it.

I've posted step by step instructions on the Shelf-A-Thon 9 thread. With links and everything. You might try looking at that to see if it helps.

And you can feel free to private message me for help if that doesn't clear things up for you.

i printed off the excel last night. just in case for some technological reason i cannot get in to my files. then id freak... and then i thought hey.. with these extra shelves i can cross off i can write which books i did it for, and why..

genius thought for the day :p

this is what i have so far 1 goodread author, 1 shelf for a 404 page book, and 2 shelves for a over 500 page book.
so.. that brings me to 154 shelves off.. woo hoo :D
