Harker Heights Public Library Teens discussion

I am a member of the TAYSHAS Reading List committeee. The TAYSHAS Reading List is a list of good books published within the last year or so that may be of interest to high school students.

Have you read or listened to anything published in 2010 or 2011 that you thik should go on this list? Just comment to this post about books that you like or dislike!

The Gathering by Kelly Armstrong was an interesting read.

Ruby Red by Kerstin Gier is also a good book.

Firelight by Sophie Jordan.

The Day Before by Lisa Schroeder was not something i would normally read. Not one of my favorite books.

Thanks for the suggestions so far! I am reading Ruby Red. I LOVE it! It is already on the "short list" for TAYSHAS. :)

Firelight by Sophie Jordan was interesting.

Subject Seven by James A. Moore was really interesting.

Ruby Red was great can't wait for the Sapphire Blue.

Cannot wait for Inheritance by Christopher Paolini! November!! (:

Inheritance was AMAZING. Really sad it's the last book though...

The Hourglass Door (2009) and The Golden Spiral by Lisa Mangum were awesome!

Possession by Elana Johnson was good. It's a utopia/dystopia book, but the characters were actually easy to enjoy.

Touch of Frost by Jennifer Estep was a wonderful, quick read that teens will love!!!

Camille by Tess Olver once again (: It involves werewolves and a touch of mystery and teen romance. The characters were engaging, and I found it a great read!
