Now I'm going to go on a promotion rant here, but check this out: http://book-spark.blogspot.com/2011/0...

Veronica Morfi (vmorfi) | 464 comments This reminded me, Secret Circle, well kind of dissapointed me. There are only half of the people that should be there! And the plot is so different. It makes me wonder if Vampire Diaries is different from the books so much since I haven't read them.

I know! I was sad. I haven't watched the second episode yet. I've heard VD is completely different from the books, but the show is much better than the books.

Avid Reader Amy's Reviews (avidreadamysreviews) I love Vampire Diaries but I feel that this season is lacking a little. I hope it picks up some speed. I love Damian. They could always have an episode of just Damian and that would make it better.

I felt the exact same thing with the first two episodes but I liked the third, I always like the stories from the past! And I totally agree about Damon. Love the guy!!! <3

I'm guess I'm the only one here who doesn't watch this show! Ha ha. I feel like the proverbial elephant in the room. I'm not a big TV person, though. I'd rather watch movies, though I do love crime shows...and I loved LOST (up until the last season or so)...

Is that random enough?

I am a huge fan of CSI: Las Vegas, that's my crime show. And I watched LOST up until the 5th season, then I just got bored and gave up on it.

Avid Reader Amy's Reviews (avidreadamysreviews) @Veronica You know the people who created Lost also created the upcoming show Once Upon A Time. It's suppose to be like Snow White. I'll probably watch the first episode just to see what it's like. I don't have my hopes up. Here is a link to the trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rga4rp...

message 25: by [deleted user] (new)

@Veronica: My favorite crime show is probably NCIS. Or one of the Law and Orders. It used to be Monk, but then they killed it...I'm also a fan of Psyche. ;) And yes, they ruined the last few seasons of LOST. They kind of just gave up on it.

@Amy: That looks...weird. Interesting, maybe, but weird. And a bit cheap, too. Hmmm...maybe I'll watch it, but I don't have high hopes, either.

Wow, thanks for letting me know. I had no idea about this show, and I really loved the trailer. Now I'll put it on my list of shows I watch! :)

Hayley Stewart (haybop) Randomness - I've spent the afternoon at my grandparents being fed and then talking with my grandma about what I'd like to do with my quilt (once I can start it) - and most of the blocks will be done by hand (by me :P)

It started off with just asking my grandma if she could make me one but now I've decided it's something I wouldn't mind learning to do :)

How will it be...? It'll be big enough for my double bed, if that's what you were asking. I want it done in a more traditional style/colours but I'm insisting that one of the themes be done in the Stewart tartan (family name) as it's also favourite colours ;D

To be fair it was another human's fault I crashed - she walked out directly in front of my front tyre (facing me dead on) w/out giving me space or time to do anything but swerve :( Pillows would be much nicer I suppose ;D

That is awful! I hope it heal soon. I have never have a broken bone, so I can't sympathize, but I'm more than sure that it isn't fun.

I think we should gang up on those awful army men. Ha ha.

Hayley Stewart (haybop) Right - forsome reason all the groups I follow have serious, depressing, whingy or just pushy topics at the top of the discussion thingy so I refuse to go with that and instead...

I'm in a happy mood today, I'm not too sure why- it's a case of October acting like October and making plans to meet up with friends.

Who else is in a happy mood? Do you have a reason behind it? What puts you in a smiley/bouncy mood?

I'm always in a happy mood! Almost...even if I almost destroyed the book I am reading (I had a coffee incident)
I went out shopping today, I only bought a shirt, but the new tourists' group are in town and I like watching them walking aroun in the city...:)

message 49: by Hayley (new)

Hayley Stewart (haybop) Yeah, my happy moods usually last (occasionally I'll be annoyed for 10 minutes or so if something really bad happens) But I've almost finished cooking dinner, just gotta wait for rice to boil - and the thai curry smells divine!!

message 50: by [deleted user] (new)

I've never had curry. Hope you enjoyed it! :)

I'm in a happy mood as well. It's getting a little bit colder here in the sunshine state (Florida...ugh...), and I actually got to wear a sweater last night (yay!).
