Melki I can't think of too many books set in South Dakota. I'll have to keep that one in mind.

Stacey Gretchen- I think Edgar Mint is in Utah?

Gretchen (gkonkler5) Hmmm believe you are right Stacey but think he gets his head run over on an Arizona reservation. Is in hospital and school there too? Then ends up in Utah with Mormon family?

Lot's Return to Sodom has been surprisingly good so far.

Stacey You're right, Gretchen. I guess the whole Mormon thing stuck in my head and I forgot it started in AZ. You'll have to read The Lonely Polygamist by Udall. I really liked it.

Melki I agree. The Lonely Polygamist was excellent - and - it can be your Utah book.

Gretchen (gkonkler5) So I'm thinking I'm only half heartedly committed to this. Doing more out of curiosity than anything.

I'm wondering if it's a stupid or good idea to maybe do tally marks, so to speak, for more than one visit to a state?? Just for my own personal interest. Or possibly I'm just over thinking this?

Melki It's your challenge, Gretchen. Do whatever you want. If you want to count more than one book per state, that is fine. Just enjoy whatever you are reading and have fun.
