3 months back I decided I would not work extra hours, and keep that time for myself. I ended up being busier, lost in books. But I like it better.
Now that the is group active, I think I'll be able to gather enough motivation to revise the list and setup a timeline.

How was clockwork orange..I have heard a lot of different reviews but would really like to read it.
It is so weird and I've never read a book like it before. I'm not sure if you know the plot but it is a bit gruesome at times (I don't mean gory just more like graphic). It is hard to understand at the beginning as the language is unusual, but I think I did enjoy it.
Ok! Maybe I will find a study guide to help me
It's not super difficult. I read it when I was about 14 and didn't have much reading experience so maybe that was why it was difficult.
@Frozenwafle: Thanks, it did take some effort and inspiration from other members of the group to come up with the list.
@Tery-lynn, Nicole: Once you start reading Clockwork Orange, you really get into the language and probably even enjoy it.

Martha wrote: "Great progress! How was A Fine Balance? I've been looking at that one for awhile."
It was heart-rending emotionally but also truthful in historical context. You might have to read on till the end to get even the slightest hint of titular balance in the story; and still not find it in the picture painted by the author.
