You were right Love_books, but I'm still glad I read it because now some of the hows and whys of hush hush have been answered.
I have another question for anyone reading this . Doesn't Nora's mom seem sort of neglectful? Look at all the accidents this woman's kid has had, and she's still not back from her "trip" yet.

i think her mum would get in the way maybe?

I kind of supported her decision to break up with Patch, but that's only because I thought she was going to explore a relationship with Scott and try and make Patch jealous. I thrive on that kind of emotional drama, but I didn't except Nora to just sit on her butt and cry about why it is that Patch doesn't love her enough.
Also - I just realized this about Patch - doesn't Patch kind of seem like he doesn't know what he's feeling or just lies about. When I finished the first book, I was under the impression that they realized they love each other. So why is it that Patch just continually acted like a jerk throughout most of the book? I get that Nora was winy and insecure about her relationship with Patch, but he wasn't suppose to go out and prove her point for her.

The romance aspect of the book was good. I liked the Patch parts and even the Scott parts. Becca Fitzpatrick is good at that whole sexual tension thing.
However, as a whole book, Crescendo was kind of disappointing. I did like it. It's just that I felt like Nora kept making the same mistakes she made in the last book. It seemed like the only thing she learnt was that she shouldn't assume that random voices in her head that sound like her dad are really her dad.
I actually had high exceptions for this book because so many people say its such a great book. Can someone who thought this was an awesome book please tell me why you liked it so much?
