5.5 U –
5.6 Y –
5.7 Stars in My Eyes - Read a book by a celebrity author.

10pts.
10.1 Oldie – Go to your To Read list and sort by publish date. (If it doesn’t show, you’ll need to add the column. To do this, look in near the top of the screen in the middle, you’ll see, “controls: shelf settings:custom reorder batch edit” Click on shelf settings:custom, and a box will show with a ton of options of things you have show or hide. You’ll want to click on the box next to date pub, then click save.) To put your list in order by pub date, click on the date pub heading. Read the book with the oldest publish date that is an actual correct date – there are few on mine that come up as 12/31/1961 but I know they’re not that old.
10.2 What’s Popular? – Click on the drop down arrow next to Explore, then click on Popular. On the right side of the screen there’s a box that has the option to choose most popular books published during a certain month, or during a certain year. Look under that box and you’ll see a list of links. Click on the most read and you’ll see a line that says, “Most Read Books This Week in the United States.” Under that is a line that says, “Books marked as Read on Goodreads this week.” Under that line, choose “all time.” Choose one of these and read a book from that list. Include the number of people that have read it with your book choice.

10.4 Who Would You Like to Sleep With? – Click on the drop down arrow next to Explore, click on Goodreads Voice. In the middle is a link to “In Bed with…,” click on that. Choose an author from this list and read a book written by them.
10.5 Melodious – Read a book that either has music or some type of music in the title or the main character is some way involved with music.
Examples: Liner Notes (Emily Franklin), Don’t You Forget About Me (Jancee Dunn), Diary of a Blues Goddess (Erica Orloff)
10.6 Don’t Tell! – Read a book with the word secret in the title.

10.7 K-I-S-S-I-N-G – Read a book that has two people kissing on the cover.
10.8 OND – Read a book whose title fits with this quarter’s challenge month initials. Do a search of your to read books for either OND, DON, NOD, ODN, NDO or DNO. One of your books is bound to have one of those groups of letters in a word.
Examples: The BlOND Theory (Kristen Harmel), You DON’t Know Jack (Erin McCarthey), GoODNight Nobody (Jennifer Weiner)
10.9 – Are You Ready For Some Football?! – Who is your favorite team? Read a book that uses the team’s initials in the title or author. You can go with pro or college.
Example: My favorite college team is Notre Dame – so I could use the initials N. D. (if it’s too difficult, throw in the city too, like ND is in South Bend, so I could use any combination of N. D. S. B. – all four letters, or just two, it’s your choice), or if I went with my favorite pro team – Tennessee Titans, I’d use T. T.
10.10 – It’s Starting to Get Chilly – Read a book by the fireplace, don’t have one? Wrap up in a cozy blanket and get comfy.

Now I HAVE to ask. Which book?"
Don't Look Down by Jennifer Cruise and Bob Mayer
It was painfully obvious where Jennifer's writing style ended and Bob's began. It just wasn't for me - there were parts where I couldn't tell who was saying what (even after rereading the paragraph 5 times) and it just felt very disjointed to me. I remember trying to read Agnes and the Hitman and putting that back on the shelf because of the same feelings. Both of those books I have put up on PBS and BM.

I actually loved the books with Jennifer Crusie and Bob Mayer, but I think it's partly because I love her so much I'd read anything she wrote.... I don't know, but I really liked Wild Ride, if you read it tell me what you think!

I should get to it since it's an audiobook. I like those because I can listen to those and do other things, like homework. :P

Truthfully, I didn't really enjoy it all that much. I hope that the others are better.
Oh, that's too bad. I don't think I've read any others of hers yet, but I did like that one. There are tons of other great RDI books though! :)
Like the two that are the group read for October - December - those are really great romantic comedies. :)

Stacy or Nicole are most of the books on the bookshelf for this group RDI? This may sound like a stupid question, but I have been wondering. When RDI books have been a task on one of the past challenges they have been hard to find.
Jencey, somewhere on the site, I have a post (I think it's under General) that lists all of the RDI titles and which year they were published.
Under the books read, I think all but maybe two or three are RDI books.

Sorry, this time around I didn't have time to come up with examples for all of them. Guess I should've started sooner. :(
I will try to get my list done as soon as possible to provide more.
The Rules
1. The challenge runs from October 1 – December 31, 2011
2. Anyone may join in at any time, and count any books read between October 1 and December 31. All participants must post their book list in this thread.
3. Books do not have to be specifically from Red Dress Ink.
4. You may only complete each task ONCE. Likewise, books may only count for ONE task.
5. To post points: Post the point value and number of the task you completed, as well as the book you read for the task. It also helps (me) to post your total points as well.
6. For multiple-book tasks: Books do not need to be read back-to-back, or in any specific order, but you must have read ALL the books for a task in order to be awarded points for it (no half points).
7. Audiobooks and e-books are acceptable to use for challenges, as long as they are the complete and unabridged versions.
8. Books started before October 1 may count for any task in the challenge, as long as you are no more than halfway through the book as of October 1.
9. You may change the books on your list at any time. Changing books for tasks already completed is NOT permitted.
10. Re-reads of books are okay, unless the task specifically says otherwise.
11. The first person to complete every task in the challenge is the winner. If no one completes every task in the challenge, then the people with the top 3 scores will be declared the winners.
12. Prizes for the top 3 finishers:
First Place – A $10 Amazon.com or BarnesAndNoble.com gift certificate
Second Place – Two credits from either BookMooch or Paperbackswap (your choice)
Third Place – A book from my posted books on Bookmooch or Paperbackswap
