Brandy Camel | 66 comments Legend foretells of a Chosen One, one who would bring together the five magics of the land of Aura and restore what was once the True Magic. The legend continues here, as Brandeis and her young army journey south to the walled city of Pallus, the capital of White Magic. Their journey is interrupted by the dark workings of a witch of black magic, Screbulum, as she slowly turns the southern farmlands and forests into a dismal swamp. The smell of undeath hangs heavy in the air as the Chosen One seeks to fight the unnatural decay and restore balance to the land.

This book is currently available in digital format and will be soon followed by a paperback version, and is the second in a series of novels in the land of Aura. Originally written by Ken Camel in 1995, it has taken over 15 years to edit and self-publish. Please join me on a journey that is not only memorable, but in many ways, is the story of my life.

This story is aimed at young adults, but similarly to series like Harry Potter, the book content starts somewhat mature and grows more so over time. There are many life lessons to be learned, and I was only about 8/9 when I first read it myself. I highly recommend reading this along with or to your children or young loved ones - that's how I enjoyed it growing up time and time again!

Brandy Camel | 66 comments As an update:

We're aware there's some formatting errors at the start of the Kindle Edition of Scourge of Screbulum. We're working on getting them fixed. Sorry for any inconvenience, and I'll be working on updating the copy as soon as possible. If you have already purchased it, don't worry, you should get the updated version automatically. If you don't, you may need to delete your copy from your Kindle device, and then re-download it. I'll update this thread when I have more information. =)

Thanks for letting us know!

Brandy Camel | 66 comments Sorry for the late bump, but we had the Kindle Edition of Scourge of Screbulum re-submitted. Hopefully that's fixed the outlying issues; please let me know if anyone's still having trouble with the way the book is displaying, and I'll take another look.

Paste few months have been crazy at work, so I hope you'll forgive my absence. =)

Oh, I suppose we can let you slide... :)

Brandy Camel | 66 comments Haha, thanks. Hopefully I'll be able to get back into checking this regularly. I've been woefully behind in updating Facebook for both this group and the Aura series.
