What Kind of Reader Are You?

Fun, thanks Diane

Same here! :-)

I'm also a dedicated reader, and I agree! :)
a few times I came up with my own answers ;) for example: 10. When you arrive at your vacation destination and the airline tells you they lost your luggage, you think: "Thank God I have a e-reader (which of course I keep in my carry on luggage)" ;)

Same here, Robyn. Just that Obsesive-Compulsive Bookworm is tied with Book-Snob as well.

You are always trying to find the time to get back to your book. You are convinced that the world would be a much better place if only everyone read more.
So true!

I'm not planning on getting a Ph.D. though...

Your Result: Literate Good Citizen
You read to inform or entertain yourself, but you're not nerdy about it. You've read most major classics (in school) and you have a favorite genre or two.
Result Breakdown:
93% Literate Good Citizen
88% Dedicated Reader
74% Obsessive-Compulsive Bookworm
45% Fad Reader
45% Book Snob
0% Non-Reader
I found some of the answers that were provided and even one of the situations stupid and too specific

Book Snob and Dedicated Reader

Book Snob! (I'll accept that, but it's relative)

"You're probably in the final stages of a Ph.D. or otherwise finding a way to make your living out of reading. You are one of the literati. Other people's grammatical mistakes make you insane."
Other than being a scientist with no interest in pursuing a literary career, I would say it is fairly accurate.

In order: Dedicated reader, book snob, literate good citizen.
"You're probably in the final stages of a Ph.D. or otherwise finding a way to make your living out of reading. You are one of the literati. Other people's grammatical mistakes make you insane."
I didn't answer the question about standing in a PO queue - I avoid situations where I have to queue like the plague!
Edit: Amanda you sound like me - another scientist! The result is probably pretty accurate. I am a compulsive reader - I have piles of books everywhere but I do tend to read more serious stuff. I hate chic lit / romance and I rarely, if ever, watch movies - certainly not of books I love as they always tinker with the story line. I have a vivid image in my mind of the characters and I hate that image to be messed with!

I like Donna's description. I am a "Dedicated Reader." I am a mood reader also. Although I'm reading all of the time, I will start maybe four or five books. Then, one of the punch will call me to not stop reading it. Then, my heart belongs to that book until it's finished. I am a Bibliophile. I love, love books. Without reading a book in a day is like a day without sunshine. I must read books daily. I always find the time in some way.

Oh, how thrilled I would be if ' One Fifth Avenue' by Candace Bushnell were to be directed...

Guess I'm not "so unique" afterall

Dedicated Reader - 85%
Book Snob - 82%
Obsessive-Compulsive Bookworm - 78%
Fad Reader - 5%
Having a Kindle sure helps when the luggage is lost and the line long! I read all the books in school but had also read all of the series listed except The Name of the Rose! Guess that kept me from a higher Fad Reader score!

I am apparently a "Dedicated Reader", but very close to being an "Obsessive-Compulsive Bookworm"
