Joy H. (joyofglensfalls) Why can't I post a new topic in the General folder?

Hello Joy. I don't know. Please post in the other folders for now. I could add more folders this weekend.

Have a marvelous day.

Joy H. (joyofglensfalls) Ilyn,
Perhaps you should ask goodreads.com why we can't post new topics in the General folder. They always reply to my questions with excellent answers. I write to them by scrolling down to the bottom of the webpage and clicking on "Contact us."

Perhaps there is something in your group settings that can be changed.

Joy, please try again. I was able to.

Joy H. (joyofglensfalls) Ilyn, I am still unable to create a NEW TOPIC in your GENERAL section. The drop down list of folders does not contain the GENERAL folder.

In fact when I click on "View all" (next to the words "general-showing 3 of 3 topics"), I get the following message:

"Oops - we couldn't find that folder."

Perhaps you're able to start at NEW TOPIC because you're the moderator of that group.

For regular posters, it's not possible to post a NEW TOPIC. They can post a COMMENT there, but not a NEW TOPIC.

(Sorry about the caps, but that's the only way I could make my message clear.)

Best regards,
Joy

Joy H. (joyofglensfalls) LOL - There's more than one way to skin a cat. :)
(What an awful expression, now that I come to think about it!) (g)

I'll go and try things out there. Thanks, Ilyn.
