I also thought up a little game to decide what book to read when im stuck - basically if the date is between the 1st-12th you take what day it is (e.g 6th) then add it to the month number (feb would be 2 )that makes 8 (6th add 2 ) so you would go into the 8th letter of the alphabet to begin your book title/ Author with. if its the 13th-31st then you take the day ( e.g 20th) and minus the month your in ( e.g may would be 5 ) that equals 15 (20th-5) so your book/author would begin with the 15th letter of the alphabet.
When im stuck now it will be an easyer way to narrow it down and open my eyes into some books i would never have thought of reading before. Let me know if you will give this a try

Another one I saw was the 'Rory Gilmore' challenge. It takes 250 books that Rory Gilmore from The Gilmore Girls has mentioned throughout the series (both in books or if she mentioned a film that is based on a book). http://bookreviews.me.uk/rory-gilmore...
Came across this after the Oscars, 20 films that won Best Picture at the Oscars that have been adapted from books http://www.retreatbyrandomhouse.ca/20...
Of course, there's 1001 Books You Must Read Before You
Die! http://www.listology.com/ukaunz/list/...
And BBC's The Big Read Top 100 http://www.bbc.co.uk/arts/bigread/top...
just thought I'd share those in case anyone's interested :)
These are more of a theme related thing like 'Around the World in Books" or maybe "A book a week" something like that.
