Arena 4!

Kai looked around frantically, fear flashing in his one eye. He grabbed an insanely heavy bag and stumbled into a corner. It would have been funny if the circumstances were different.

If he had his back to a wall of the maze, he would be able to defend it and the darkness helped with hiding.

Dei wasted no time in hopping off that filthy platform and running to the cornucopia. Without any hesitation, she grabbed a small bag about the same length as her forearm and the height of one hand span. It was essentially a purse. Once she lifted it, she knew exactly what was in it. It was all she needed. She left the cornucopia and headed off to the darkest tunnel. Monsters, she could possibly deal with. Demigods weren’t at all comfortable for her.
Jase’s eyes hurt terribly from the sudden change in lighting. He sent a mental word of hatred towards the gamemakers as he ran away from the cornucopia. He didn’t need anything, and would have rather stayed way from the bloodshed. But he knew that to survive, he’d need something. He grabbed a small bag at the edge of the circle around the cornucopia, and ran. As he ran, he transformed himself into a small rodent, a rat. He relaxed and hid in a corner, waiting for Viola to appear.

Aisha smiled. "Knew that would come in handy," she said, hastily opening the backpack she had grabbed. "Blanket, torch, and another knife. Awesome. Hey, careful you don't tire yourself out," she said, nodding her head at the mini sun.

((Does anyone want to Ally? I guess I should have worked this out. Zakari? Our Hestia kids want to?))

Jena didn't wait after that gong sounded. She ran, grabbed a random bag with hopes for the best, as well as a dagger, and without slowing ran straight into the maze. She turned left, right, right, left, and stopped at a dead end. She sighed and sat down, going through what she'd collected in the minimal time she had.
Sier grabbed a pack that was of medium size and slightly beat up, and spotted Aisha, Tassadar, and Raspine. He ran to them just in time to hear Ras' question. "Friend. Now let's get out of here."

Aisha nodded. "Sounds good, a pack of four. Let's go that way." She slung her bag over her shoulders and held her knife out, running.

Sier shook his head as Aisha started running. He looked back at the hall he'd just come from. "I didn't get any weapons." He pointed out. "I won't do you much good if I can't fight." He said. He smiled down at Raspine and leaned down to kiss her cheek. In the light of the arena, his bruise covering his eye was darker and more visible. He draped the pack over his shoulder and winked at her. "Follow them. I'll catch up." He promised, then ran off back where he'd come from.

Sier stayed at the edge of the maze, looking at the cornucopia. He had to be able to find a sword or two in there. He nodded to himself, made sure that the backpack was tight on him, then ran. He searched the golden sculpture and managed to find two swords, but it cost him time, and they weren't evenly balanced. He cursed his luck and went back into the maze. He turned- and found a wall. But this path was clear, I remember. He shook his head in confusion and continued with the turn, trying to go the direction of the original path whenever he could.
Dei ran through the darkness. No worries, she wasn't too scared. The sun was in her heart, she didn't need a real sun. Without realizing it, as she ran, the light grew stronger and she ran to a guy. Sier.
She scowled, "Where'd you come from?!"

Sier chuckled as he looked at her. "Same place as everyone... well, maybe except a child of Athena, since they're not born properly." He noted. "Do we have to fight, or can I continue?" He asked.
((IDK, take a look at the 1st post of the Charrie topic. What do you mean, Hannah?))
Dei glared at him, "You are just disgusting. No. I won't fight you yet. But I'm watching out for Raspine. She needs it, and you haven't exactly been nice to her."
Dei brushed past him and left through the other side, the one that had been closed just moments ago

Viola sprinted towards the cornucopia right after the gong sounded. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Jase running to the left tunnel. She picked up a large black bag and hung it over her shoulder before sprinting towards the tunnel he disappeared into. To her right, she heard a faint zipping sound and she jumped left and landed on the floor in a summersault as the knife zoomed past. She got back up and turned the corner of the tunnel before leaning against the wall to catch her breath.

The gong sounded as silent tears streamed down Alexia's face. The only positive part of being in the Hunger Games was being outside surrounded by nature. She sucked it up and started running to the cornucopia. Unfortunately she had lost a few seconds when the gong sounded and a lot of items were taken. She saw a small sword and she picked it up when she heard Storm say her name. She turned to him and got up running. As she got up she fell back to the floor as a tribute slammed into her.
((if anyone wnts to rp the tribute be my guest))

((It's a power))
"Aisha" He said. "We should go farther away from the Cornucopia. Monsters, I can deal with. Other demigods is going to be a little bit harder." He looked at a dark hallway. "After we get a safe place, we can go looking for our allies"

No Charis told himself sternly. Do not let yourself get all freaked out. It's only just begun and you have people to return home to.

((Anyone want to ally with him?))

Charis finished giving himself a pep talk and then he heard the sound of someone nearby. Charis crept forward, straining his eyes against the darkness. Who was there?
He heard a whispered, "Coal!"
"Storm it's alright." Alexia turned to Raspine, "Thanks. Good luck." She took Storms hand and pulled him after her, running into the darkness.

"Let's see" He said. He flicked a mini sun to both sides. To the right he could see a hellhound and to the right, he saw a snake-like figure. "I'll take my chance with the hellhound" He said. He blew a note into his ocarina and it turned into a sword.
Jase followed Viola and transformed while her back was turned. Demigods could never deal with the fact that a mortal would be able to do something they'd never be able to.
"Hey," he said softly, grabbing her hand, "We have to go. Farther from here."

((Just to clarify. Your tributes go into the arena without any weapons on them. No swords. Nothing that could possibly help them. All they have are the powers and talents they have what ever they get from the cornucopia))

It would seem the Moirae were currently working against him, but weren't they always?
The claws of his toes clicked against the loose stonework, the bits of green plantlife briefly catching his eye before he surmised it to be a branch of Aconitum, monkshood, a particularly dangerous plant. He knelt down, fingering the purple blossoms, crushing them between his fingers. Not enough to poison anything, and he didn't even have the weapons to use it on.
A world weary sigh and he was walking again, the temperature dropping as he wound his way deeper and deeper, keeping to the left and only rarely taking the right turns, the sounds of combat still echoing in his ears this far away. He dimly wondered how many had already died, pathetic little heroes they were.
But he was one to talk, now wasn't he? Silas silently mused, he hadn't not a thing to eat or defend himself besides his natural born talents, and he he was fleeing like a little rat.
He paused as the the sound of scales on stone filtered through his keen ears, the tip of a snakes tail disappearing in front of him, rattling its fury.

Suddenly, a bright light turns on. You find yourself in a circe with the other Tributes around the sole cornucopia. Your eyes are stunned by the sudden bright light. The buzzer sounds and the countdown is over.
You're in a maze, an underground labrynth. The only source of light is the brightly lit cornucopia. The farther away you go, the more darker it gets.
Many monsters roam the Arena. One monster in particular should be feared: The Minotaur. The gamemakers have programmed him with an undying hatred of any godling, or mortal with the god's scent. He is invicible. He cannot die. He cannot be reprogramed. He cannot be destroyed or taken apart. Each part broken in battle is repaired soon after. He is invincible.
((The Arena is shown in post 58 of http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/6...
However, the walls will move occasionally ))
EDIT: The only source of food are the animals that roam the place and the occasional green thing that grows. The Arena his heated by the Cornucopia's light. But there is no wood.
