The Bloody Book Club! discussion

Started reading DRACULAS last night, and so far, it's great! I'm only about 50 pages in, and already there has been plenty of death and destruction! Anyone else read this book yet? Any thoughts? (without giving away the ending)?

Looks really good Bloodman I'll need to check it out.of the 4 authors I have only read Crouch and Kilborn but really liked what i have read of them so far,Abandon has been one of my favs of the year so far.Although i have heard great things about Jeff Strand I've still to read anything by him yet,I noticed the price for Dweller on amazon was reasonable so I'll maybe try that one.

You should definitely check out Jeff Strand, William. I've only read two of his books so far (Dweller and Pressure), but they were honestly two of the best books I've ever read. I don't mean to be melodramatic, but I really enjoyed them a lot! And so far, DRACULAS has been great, too! I have Wolf Hunt waiting for me on my Kindle as well - I really need to read that one soon. It sounds great as well!

Wow,that is some recommendation Bloodman,is he really that good?.I just bought Dweller and Berserk by Tim Lebbon another author I've been wanting to try.Here's hoping they arrive soon You have got me really looking forward to reading Dweller now.

I know, it probably does sound like I'm overdoing it, but I really don't think I am. I just couldn't put either of them down! Hopefully I am not building them up too much for you - I don't want you to be disappointed. But I think you will enjoy them. I don't think I've heard anyone say anything bad about Dweller.

Finished the other day, and it was great! A very fun, action-packed book, with lots of blood and guts! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes that kind of thing!

I just finished Dweller Bloodman,and really loved it,just a brilliant story.I was thinking it might be a little cheesy and corny but it wasn't at all,just a really entertaining (pretty funny at times) well written book.

Glad you like it, William! I remember sitting down to read for a bit, and ended up finishing close to half the book - I just couldn't put it down! And I know I'm probably a loser, but I actually shed a tear or two at the end. No book has ever done that to me before!

I did the same,I ended up going back to work 20 minutes late on my lunch break,i just completely lost track of time.I agree about the ending really sad,although i did see it coming.I will be checking out his other books if they are even half as good as this one.

The only other book of his (just Strand by himself) was PRESSURE and that was really great too! Probably not as touching or emotional as DWELLER, but still a fantastic book. Again, I couldn't put that one down either. I definitely would recommend that one highly as well! Let me know if you decide to check it out!
