As is Kira. :) Thanks for sharing - it's so fun to relive the book with people as they're reading it. Let's see...60%....do you think she should trust Simon?

Hi Diane! Hearing that a reader can't put your book down is the coolest thing for an author, so thank you for that! My favorite books always seemed to be the ones that kept me up at night. I'd love to hear what you think of it when you're done! (p.s. reviews rock my socks) (p.p.s. maybe you're husband will read it too? :))

@Mary Great! Although Open Minds has romance elements, it's definitely not a paranormal romance - it's more an action/adventure story. Male readers seem to enjoy it as well as female, and reviewers are comparing it to Hunger Games (which appeals to both men and women). Any boy teen that likes SF should enjoy it, and there's enough romance that girls should like it too! :)
