Also, I assume the "one book per country" rule would still apply?
This is a great idea and I'd love to participate...although it may take me until I die to actually be successful. ;)

The rules are very loose. You can use the same or different books that you use with the other challenges. You can also visit the same countries as often as you like. There are also no time limits. Kite Runner ought to be on the list, but isn't. Same with A Thousand Splendid Suns. They are both such great books.

The first book in series by Alex Rutherford, called Raiders from the North, plays mainly in Afghanistan - at a guess, about 60%. The rest of the book plays mostly in Pakistan. There are 2 other books in the series, which I ave not read yet. The story plays in the late 15th and early 16th century, and is based on historical data.

Diana, are you able to move the #2 & #3 conversation response on my Alondra's ATW in 1001 Books" down a few spots, so I can use the first 3 spots to annotate on my list??
Or do I have to start over to claim those first 3 spots?
Thanks
